Peter is voiced by the creator himself, Seth MacFarlane, who also voices most of the other characters including Brian (the dog), Stewie (the talking, evil baby!) and Quagmire (Peter's stupid friend). Being fat, I don't think Peter is taken seriously and I think this is the message Seth MacFarlane is trying to get across. Meg is the smart, shaded daughter of Peter who is stuck in a deranged family of five and is obviously sick to death of the stupidity in the family. This character is voiced by Mila Kunis who took over Lacey Chabert who FOX thought never really suited the character well. She is never really accepted at school by the men which obviously has lowered her self-a-steam not to mention the grief from her...

The Family Man: Will he get his family?

Advantages: Well done and emotionally engaging.
Disadvantages: Sentimental and unoriginal (and to some extent predictable).

Family Fortunes!

Advantages: A great read

...to become a family and Sophie and Louie plan their wedding. It 's the sort of book that is quite funny in places but also very thought provoking as the strength of the couple's relationship is tested in many ways - not least when Louie suddenly discovers that he has a previously unknown about grown up son from a former relationship! It's the sort of story that, if you have been in the situation of forming a new family, that it's very easy to identify with. Much of the story is taken up with Sophie's worry that perhaps things are moving a bit too fast. On the one hand she is really excited about the wedding but then she worries that she and Louie hardly know each others and it's only the circumstances that they have found themsewlves in that has made them so close. She is particularly worried when Louie's discovery about his son causes...

Advantages: Easy to watch and an array of well known actors

...I bought the family stone for one reason only and that was because the cast was a mix of well known faces! I know I should look for more than this but, being a Sex and the City fan I am always keen to watch anything with Sarah Jessica Parker in! Along with a variety of others who I have seen in other films and enjoyed then it was surely to be a winner wasn't it? Released in 2005 the film was written and directed by Thomas Bezucha. The story: The stone family are very close knit and celebrate Christmas together every year.
