...I found this hotel to be in a very central location which was good for us as we were only in Bangkok for three nights. The room had air conditioning which came in very handy. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and the sheets were changed everyday. We were in the middle of the town and near to the Golden Palace which is a tourist hotspot, we were also near to the main town and all the shops were easily accesable. There were plenty of banks surrounding our hotels so changing up out money was very easy. The night markets were a 10 minute walk from the hotel and the red light district (which is worth a look for the culture shock) was a 15 minute walk. There were quite a few tailors and other shops further away from out hotel which we could get to by a 'tuk tuk' car and this was a very cheap method of transport (about £2...

China - Unforgettable

Advantages: Great Sights, Changing Culture.
Disadvantages: Difficult Language

...are pretty regular to the major cities, we went with China Air and it was fine, plenty of leg room in economy (important for me i'm 6' 2") and operated just like a normal airline in every respect. We flew from Heathrow. Filght time is about 10 hours London to Bejing and China is 8 hours ahead of the UK. The currency is the Yuan and todays exchange rate is 13.8 to the pound I had no problem getting this in a local travel agent. Upon arrival you are asked to fill in a few forms but customs and immigration were fine with no real questions or searches involved (unlike Cuba which blooming well is scary). I was met by the guide at the airport and whisked away on a coach to our hotel. ...From about the age of ten, my friends and I were addicted to collecting TY beanies. For those of you who do not know for some strange reason, TY Beanies are a collection of little teddies in all forms, from animals and teddy bears. Once you start a collection they are quite addictive. Their cute little faces draw you in and indeed they are all adorable! One of the Beanies is a Panda, named China. China sits on his fours, and looks so adorable! His fur is black and white, as you would expect, with the arms and paws black alond with his ears and patches over his eyes, the rest of him white. ...We stayed at this hotel in London a little over a month ago now for two nights, we chose this hotel mainly because of the central location and because it was only a ten minuite walk from the show we had booked to go too. Check in was very quick - About ten minuites and the staff at the reception seemed very friendly. My first thoughts on the hotel was that it looked really clean and that it was nicely decorated and it looked modern. I was a little dissapointed with our room as it was very small and basic, our room had a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a tv with satellite and a small, basic en suite bathroom with a shower. The views from our room very very poor - A block of offices which made our room dark as they were so close. The hotel has two bars and two resturaunts, the bars were again nicely decorated...

Disadvantages: It's so tasty you'll probably eat too much

...In my humble opinion China China offers an exceptionally varied, delicious buffet menu at a reasonable price. The freshly cooked food is constantly being added to the hot serving tables, the 'Seafood' in particular is delicious and it's a real treat to have such a well prepared aray of tasty Mussels, King Prawns, and Squid. If you'd rather the more conventional meat dishes there are plenty of Chicken, Beef, Spare Ribs etc. and all sorts of side dishes, from Special Fried Rice or Spring Rolls to plain old boring Chips for the less experimental of you. Even lots of pretty average but tasty Cheese Cakes. Ice Creams or Fruit Salads for afters (if you can fit them in). My only criticism is of me not China China, and that is I keep confusing 'All you would like to eat' with 'All you can eat' and as it's so tasty I made a right pig of myself...
