Modern Warfare 2 - Fun but not Fantastic

Advantages: intriguing gameplay, flawless sound/graphics, rolling storyline
Disadvantages: anti-climax, little repetitive, nothing really new to catch onto

...and they carefully consider the plotlines and story play of the game. They keep the goals in the game realistic, the storylines believable and the gameplay fun. What more is -really- expected of a game? In terms of the graphics people praised, valued and held high the quality of Modern Warfare and regarded it as plausibly the best there has yet been so when announced an attempt to tweak this one step further gamers everywhere cringed to think how this would work. And yet it has. No glitches, second freezes or frame drops just a heavely rolling game play.To add a note to the praise in this the business of each section, the going ons, the attentions to detail (keeping in mind the aweing build up/layers to create highly effective 3d effects) and yet the game does not stutter or falter. Advantages: Compared to the first modern warfare they have added driving in the story and its more detailed.
Disadvantages: To be honest, besides a few environmental graphics, it looks to be the shooter of the decade.

...Call of Duty Modern warfare 2 looks amazing if you?re a halo freak you will fall in love with this first person shooter. It's very detailed. They even switched the map to the screen on your gun unlike any game I have seen before. As far as if you just want to buy the game, and not go online to play, the story line features are so much better. You can even drive on this epic 1st person shooter. The disadvantages to this game as far as I can see are only a few visual slumps like every once in awhile a car will not look as realistic but everything else is wonderful. If you?re looking for a gift for a gamer or just want to try an epic 1st person shooter then this is the game for you....

Mammoth Book of 20th Century Science Fiction

Advantages: Some real gems

...title of this book should be: "The Mammoth Book of 20th Century Science Fiction, The biggest and best science Fiction Anthology Ever Published (excluding John W. Campbell, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke, etc.") The problem here is that (for reasons he goes on to explain, which, in my opinion, are weak) Hartwell has gone for a selection which includes a lot of second and third drawer science fiction writers, amongst some real gems. A Work of Art (which tells the tragic tale of a re-animated Richard Strauss) by James Blish is a good story which fairly much holds up against the best short stories of Heinlein, etc. The other stories are a curiously unsatisfying mixture of well-crafted art and derivative pap. We do not have to read the stories of John W. Campbell, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C...

Call of Duty modern warfare 2 Worth it???

Advantages: Brilliant graphics, very good onine multiplayer, nice features added which orignal did not have.
Disadvantages: quite a complex storyline

...The most eagerly anticipated game of the year, possibly even the decade. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is a first person shooter available on the most popular games consoles. Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. the game is rated 18 and for good reason. Many scenes throughout the campaign mode of the game I personaly found quite disturbing, however this would not put me off buying the game. one level in particular where you pose as a terrorist, and with your gang walk around an Airport shooting civillians. you do however get the choice to skip this level when you load up the game. I would not recomend that you buy this game for your child, or anyone under the 18 year age recommendation. Despite the few disturbing levels you cannot deny the incredible graphics and gameplay that Activision have managed to create in the amzaing game...

COD: Modern Warfare 2, Could it get ANY better! Seriously!!

Advantages: Epic single player, Amazing Multiplayer and has great Replay Value

...Where to Begin?? The sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game follows on from the first and I've got to be honest with you, I LOVE THIS GAME! I'm more of a multiplayer kind of guy racking up over 10 days of online play on the first but I resisted all of my temptations and played the single player, now the best campaigns i've played range from Halo 3 to Gears of War 2, but top of my list now Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The story line can only be described as EPIC! Once i started i found it hard to stop and after completing it i was craving for more. If they made it into a film it would be an all time great.
