Indian Head massage has been practised traditionally in India for thousands of years and is part of Ayurvedic medicine system. This medicine is one of India's oldest systems. It promotes longevity of life though balancing of Mind, body and spirit. It was used on women traditionally to aid and promote beautiful hair. Oils were used too. They passed their knowledge and massages onto their families. New mothers massage their babies every day until they are the age of three and then they receive one every week. The children then learn and return the massage to their mothers. It becomes a circle and Indian Head massage is practised on all the family members...

...Every so often I get awful headaches. They are torture, feeling as though my head is being at once gripped in a vice and being kicked from the inside at the same time . Whilst generally paracetomol and other painkillers do work, they take some time to act, and when they wear off I'm usually reluctant to take more . Fairly recently, I was up at my mums when a headache started to make itself known . Quick as a flash, my mum felt around in her handbag, before thrusting 4head into my hand- - a stylish silver container with a clear plastic lid, looking like a short , fat lip salve . At the bottom of the pack is a part that you twist to get more of the product to come out of the tube . The hot pink label announces that this is 3.6 g . It also informs us the Levomenthol is the active ingredient . Now, I'm aware of menthol in a lot of products...

...I have always suffered from headaches. As a child, I used to have very intense headaches every few months; I would get a pulsating pain on one side of my head (usually the left) that would last for several hours and would be accompanied by sensitivity to light and noise, and nausea. I suspect that to many of you reading this, the word "migraine" will be springing to mind. That is what my parents and I (as I got older) always suspected, but our GP always refused to believe this, as it is a fairly unusual thing in a child, affecting only about 5% of pre-teens (most suffers are aged between their twenties and forties). Trust me to be different, eh? The result was that these headaches went untreated, as regular over-the-counter painkillers cannot even dent a migraine once it is underway, as anyone who has had one will tell you...

...Headaches eh. Who needs 'em? Well, apart from the major pharmaceutical companies probably not too many folks relish the thought of a pounding headache that reverberates through your skull. Or the splitting, searing type that lances behind your eyes every now and again. And probably not the type that feels like the top of your head is about to split asunder. No - it's got to be fair to say that headaches are an unwelcome phenomenon so anything that helps get rid must surely be a good thing? As luck would have it, LegendaryMrsDude works in a pharmacy and so knows her stuff when it comes to tablets & medication. She's told me, several times, that different painkillers work differently for different people. Ibuprofen tends to work better for men, paracetomol is easier on the stomach than aspirin etc, etc. But this review is not here...

Literally head Over Heels
