Advantages: flexible, available for 95% mortgages, interest calculated daily, no arrangement fee, no indemnity premium, no tie in period, online/ telephone 24hrs
Disadvantages: lacks personal touch, not available for 100% mortgages, (mortgage deeds not stored), may not suit older persons i.e. up to 65 years due to age restrictions

A seriously useful racquet

...I'd owned the Head prestige classic for many years prior to the release of it's successor and I have to say that it did me really well. However, I was curious to say the least when the new Head 'intelligence' prestige was released, so I went to a specialist tennis shop to get the lowdown. The racquet is available in 3 different head sizes; The mid version has a head size of 93 square inches, and the mid plus and the mid plus xl versions both have a head size of 98 square inches. I took a good look at the mid plus racquet in the shop, but I decided that at the time, I couldnt really afford to buy two because they were retailing at £199.99 each! I say two, because as all serious players will know, because of the vast number of strings you break during matches, you can't really afford to run the risk of having only one racquet...

An Intelligent Choice

Advantages: Attractive rates, no tie-in period. Smart mortgage.

...I recently purchased a house and wanted a good deal on my mortgage. I wanted everything - a discounted rate, cashback and also no tie-in period. The tie-in period was very important to me as I had to leave my previous mortgage lender (the Leeds & Holbeck) and they charged me over £3000 to do this because I was still within my 5 year tie-in period. I could have stayed with the Leeds & Holbeck to avoid paying this huge fee but Leeds & Holbeck would not lend me the extra money (I needed £120,000) for my new house. I decided to go to Intelligent Finance and I was very pleased to hear that they would lend me up to £140,000 - more than enough for what I needed! The deal I got from IF was 6% base rate which is lower than any other lender that I had checked up on at the time. There was a discount of 1.5% for the first 6 months. I have seen...

QUICK ISA OVERVIEW:- The type of ISA I got with Intelligent finance is a mini cash ISA which basically means you've got a savings account that the tax man doesn't get a piece of. It's instant access so you can withraw when you want and there is no risk involved (unlike a shares ISA's where you could lose out depending on the share price). With a mini ISA you can deposit up to £3000 per tax year into the account that will earn you a reasonably high interest rate and you won't pay tax on it.   Artfully intelligent but awfully indulgent

Advantages: Intelligent, thought-provoking, great special effects

I felt I couldn't really connect with the characters, there was an emotional distance there, which was actually more reminiscent of Kubrick. There are great moments as always and despite the slow pace I was not aware of the length of the movie until I read other reviews on it. It was compelling watching to see which way it was going to go. For me, Speilberg made the wrong choices on too many occasions and there is definitely a better film hiding in here trying to get out. But compared to your average no-intelligence-required Hollywood movies this is a work of art. It does make you think and if you're aware of its complexity beforehand you'll probably quite enjoy it.
