...the final product being not fit for purpose. I pointed out to the distributor that under European law any product supplied has to be fit for purpose. It was clear in my evaluation as a professional engineer that this product was not fit for purpose. I also questioned the dealer?s ability to make such a professional judgement. This let to a game of e-mail tennis. I gave up with them and decided to go straight to the source. I contacted Cateye and eventually after much perseverance on my part (and a set of photos showing the damage), Cateye accepted that the headlight was faulty. They said that they would have to contact the UK distributor to arrange a replacement to be sent to me. I felt vindicated and elated after a month of e-mail tennis I had a un-henman like result I won!!!!!. Alas no I have had no further contact from either Cateye...

Halfords Foreign Travel Car Headlight Stickers

...Last month I begrudgingly paid £7.00 for a pair of Halfords small sticky plastic headlight adjusters for my VW Golf to enable me to take my car on holiday in Europe. Following the instructions I applied the stickers to the Golf's headlights the night before my journey. The next morning I set out on the long drive which would take me through France and Belgium to my destination in northern Holland. ...Its something about havnig a 16v motor that rings out pefromance and power to many, but for the baby Corsa it means smoothness and enonomy. Ok it does go well for the size of the engine, but you dont buy such a small capacity car for peformance do you? The dash is functional, and although electric windows are optional, things like adjustable headlights, Excellent six speaker stereo, power steering, and a digital display that shows time / date / and radio station come as standard on the GLS. With suspension engineered by lotus on the newer Corsas, they really stick to the road well, and tyre life is maximised due to the Michelin Energy tyres. Most of Standandard pards are excellent quality, and last a long time. Overall a strong, robust motor, although starting to look its age now.. good job Vauxhall have just given it a re-vamp !...

...These night vision goggles are for kids aged 8 years and above, they are black and yellow in colour, on the goggles there is a Microphone, on/off switch for the light, battery compartment, (2 AA batteries), on/off for volume control, ear plug, headlight angle adjuster, headlight lamp. Getting started Switch on your headlight, the switch is situated by your right ear, you can adjust the position of the headlight with the adjuster which is situated above the headlight, the red light will help you see when it`s dark and will not dammage your night vision. Using the amplifier Put the ear piece into your ear, switch the power on and turn the volume button until you can hear sounds, you will now be able to hear sounds that you would not have noticed before. Conclusion My son loves anything like this, but I dont see what fun...

A Car Most ordinary

...hard to get road books and paperwork stowed safely. Seating is fairly good, the drivers seat supports the back well and is quite adjustable, unlike the horrible one in my last car, the Vauxhall Vextra estate, which I handed back after a day. Being a petrol engine the economy isn't great. If I drive very carefully I can achieve around 38 mpg, which in this age is nothing to celebrate. when you consider that the Citroen Xsara Picasso diesel gave me 56 + mpg, performed better, and was more roomy and comfortable, the Ford needs to improve, especially as it is more expensive to buy. I found the light switch a bit quirky, if you turn it two clicks to the right it brings on the headlights. Pull and turn again brings on the foglights. return it to the vertical and pull again, turning to the left and you will activate the parking...

...Only a 1.2 16v engine i hear you say? I say come on ahead and I will defitely give you a good race! No i'm not a little boy racer, but i do respect the surprising acceleration of my little red bullet! I have owned my car for 1 year now and it's beginning to see a few changes with more on the way! So far my red corsa has recieved 15in fox f2 alloys with pirelli tyres, a twin square oval performance stainless steel exhaust from scorpion, a K&N air filter, headlight eyebrows, wind deflectors, halogen headlight bulbs (multi coloured), gearknob, sun strip, fuel cap and harness pads. On the way are a set of panique side skirts, a dtm racing front splitter/spoiler, blacked out side repeaters, new number plates, corsa mudflaps, window tint and cd changer....
