...I know this doesn't seem like its going to be the most interesting review in the world. But after my recent review on the BBC easy cook magazine, I actually realised that my cupboard contents were ridiculous and have been on two food shopping trips in the past day!! I have bought a selection of food from Tesco and Sainsbury's (couldn't get everything in Tesco) and I am going to review some different foods!! I'm going to start with Tesco healthy living chicken, cheese and bacon pie, as I had it about an hour ago and therefore have the fresh feeling of boxed dinner still lingering in my mouth!! MMMMMmmmmm! I'm going to start with, I love Tesco, and it's so cheap!! This meal was £1.64, which is unusual as most supermarkets think they can charge loads for something just because it healthy living!! God only knows why I bought this...

...While I was at work I noticed that my hands felt very dry. My nails were also a mess as I had removed some nail varnish the night before and not moisturised them afterwards. So on my lunch break I wandered off to boots to buy some hand cream. I must admit I didn't spend hours making my choice, I scanned the shelf and picked up the first tube that said it was for hands and nails. Then I saw this next to it for 50p less so I bought it instead! The product I ended up with was Vaseline Intensive Care, Healthy Hand & Nail everyday care lotion. It is in a pale pink tube with a blue lid and has the blue Vaseline logo at the top. It claims that it 'softens hands and strengthens nails by 50%'. This 75ml tube cost £1.79 in boots but I got it using my points as I don't get paid for another 4 days The instructions say that for the best...

Healthy Homestyle Cooking - with BEER?

...I love to cook but rarely follow recipes, therefore my kitchen is often described as a science lab (oh, no, sorry - that's my fridge!) yet I have a vast collection of cookbooks. ...for the one that seems most sensible even in the wee hours of the night: Tesco's Chicken flavour noodles from their Healthy Living range. Only I have a question - how can something in a plastic pot made from dried seasoned ribbon egg noodles with dried Sweetcorn, peas and mushrooms and seasoned with a chicken flavour, be classed as healthy? It seems that, by sticking a couple of bright green and blue circles on the side of the packaging that shout about the product being less than 3% fat and only 226 calories, it's clearly healthy. Couple that with the fact that Tesco have calculated this meal wrapped in plastic is worth just three and a half points for people dining by the Weight Watchers method and there you go then: perfectly healthy.
