...My baby is one tomorrow, don't know where that went! Anyway for the last eight moths or so we have been feeding her this food and it's different incarnations. i.e. peas,pear and broccoli, carrot, apply and parsnip, apples and bananas and the other ones they do. They are all organic and made from 100% fruit and veg, they come in a handy squeezy tube the consistency of the food is pureed, so they are ideal as a first solid food, though you can carry on feeding your baby these for well after this stage. They can be served cold or hot as desired. But after my recent review on the BBC easy cook magazine, I actually realised that my cupboard contents were ridiculous and have been on two food shopping trips in the past day!! I have bought a selection of food from Tesco and Sainsbury's (couldn't get everything in Tesco) and I am going to review some different foods!! I'm going to start with Tesco healthy living chicken, cheese and bacon pie, as I had it about an hour ago and therefore have the fresh feeling of boxed dinner still lingering in my mouth!! ...What! Only 10 foods? Of all the MILLIONS/ BILLIONS of food products out there we can only pick 10? Well, I suppose you'd get bored by my 100th or so one..or tenth... In no particular order; let's begin 1. Fish -Smoked Haddock, Salmon, Cod, sea bass or tuna. Haddock is delcious in a pitta bread with scrambled egg or haselback potatoes. Salmon fillet is divine if you top it with mayo, crushed seasoned cornflakes with garlic and then drizzled with a cheese sauce. Smoked salmon slices mixed into mash with cheese spread! emm. And tuna, mix it with onion and some chutney to get fish fruity. Make your own fish pie or chop it up into an omelete. Fish is sooo nutritional, versatile and delcious. Not a fan of sardines, herring; trout and the lark, or with heads and eyes still on! Prawns - league of there own. Nice just out the pack...

...While I was at work I noticed that my hands felt very dry. My nails were also a mess as I had removed some nail varnish the night before and not moisturised them afterwards. So on my lunch break I wandered off to boots to buy some hand cream. I must admit I didn't spend hours making my choice, I scanned the shelf and picked up the first tube that said it was for hands and nails. Then I saw this next to it for 50p less so I bought it instead! The product I ended up with was Vaseline Intensive Care, Healthy Hand & Nail everyday care lotion. It is in a pale pink tube with a blue lid and has the blue Vaseline logo at the top. It claims that it 'softens hands and strengthens nails by 50%'. This 75ml tube cost £1.79 in boots but I got it using my points as I don't get paid for another 4 days The instructions say that for the best...

...wouldn?t touch the stuff as she was used to Go-Cat but she wolfed it down, purring the whole time and regularly stopping to lick her lips. The lip licking continued long after she had eaten and I got an amazing amount of hugs from her too! It was quite obvious that she really enjoyed it and that was me happy. I don?t measure Tifa?s food as she is VERY active, (climbing curtains, walls etc and generally running around all day), so I just keep her bowl full and let her eat when she likes. Each 400g packet lasts over a week depending on her activity levels. It is expensive at £3.25 for 400g but I love spoiling Tifa and compared to the ingredients of ?normal? cat food I think this is well worth the extra money.
