Le Domaine Les Pailles Resort

Advantages: Activies and fun for all ages and tastes!
Disadvantages: When rounded up, it can be quite pricey!

...The best Holiday Resort I have ever been in Mauritius is The Domaine Les Pailles. As I briefly mentioned in one of my previous reviews, this is a humongous holiday resort which stretches out for miles and miles, and comprises of activities, fun and cuisine for every ages and tastes. It is situated at Pailles, a small town just a few minutes before Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. Finding the road to Domaines Les Pailles turned out to be quite difficult because there is one specific corner road we had to turn into and we kept missing roads! But once we got into the road which would take us to the resort, it was as if we'd immediately been shut out of the real world. Heart of Class

Advantages: Superbly written, absorbing, great story, developed characters

...It's not very often that I get excited about a book release, as I just don't like to pay the prices of newly released hardback books. But I do make an exception for Jodi Picoult's novels, and when I heard a few months ago that Change of Heart was to be released this month, I saved up one of my Waterstones vouchers especially for it! I eagerly picked up my copy on Thursday and took it to the counter and started reading it as soon as I got home, and managed to finish it at 1am on Sunday morning..it was that good that I just couldn't put it down. Like all of Picoult's book, this one has a controversial main storyline and a court case, so nothing new there. The Heart and Soul of the Irish health service.

Advantages: Characters are well explored.
Disadvantages: All a bit sugar coated.

...As readers to my page know, I have had a bit of a Marian Keyes spell of reading, so I thought I would have a change. Not much of a change, to be fair, as I returned to a previous favourite for easy reading, in Maeve Binchy. Again, another Irish female author, and one who I trust to give me a good yarn at the end of a busy day. I was given several hard back copies of her novels by my sister, one of which was ?Heart and Soul?. I have read this as a stand alone novel, but just read another review which has told me that it was a sequel to Whitethorn Woods. I have Whitethorn Woods to read, also, so I feel a bit let down that I wasn?t made aware of this by the author when I was choosing which book to start with. ...Jodi Picoult is one of the best known and best selling authors out there so I am surprised that I have not read one of her novels prior to reading this one. Strategy of hearts.

Advantages: Good strategy and chatting while playing.
Disadvantages: Addictive and costly if your paying by the minute.

...I am not going to mention the rules or how to play the game as this has been covered by many opinions already. I will try cover the strategy or strategies that a player can learn and adopt. If you pass the Queen of spades you are likely to force that player to 'Shoot the Moon' (Take all the tricks). He may have no other option. By passing a low heart with two other cards the player you pass them to will be unable to 'Shoot the Moon'. He will have to play the low heart which will in most cases be beaten. Passing the only three cards in a suit will enable you to play cards from any other suit which you wish to discard. To Shoot the Moon you will require at least the Ace of hearts and other high cards in the hearts suit, unless you have all the master tricks of the other suits in your hand. Heart classic album

Advantages: These Dreams beautiful song

...Probably the best and most commercial of all the Heart albums. Heart are a Canadian group lead by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. The basic is soft rock music or as some call it Stadium Rock, but this album has a few really good rock tracks that are great for example If looks could kill. It has a 10 track album, possibly a little short if I'm being critical. I good blend between rock and ballads. The track that will stick out for most is the haunting "These Dreams" which is song by Nancy wheras Ann usually stars on the Vocals. It is a thought provoking and wonderful song. It has a clasic 1980's feel to it. With all the big hair and polished sound. You can pick an album like this on e-bay for a few pounds. I would recommend it just for These Dreams alone.
