Bliss, Dry Towels.

Advantages: Good for a compact bathroom
Disadvantages: I dont think that there are any !

...We often have a good grumble about the amount of junk mail and flyers that come through the letterbox and if the Betterware representative is delivering his catalogues then that can be like a red rag to a bull. Betterware do have some good ideas but I get so annoyed because the rep expects you to leave the catalogue outside of the door for him to collect within the next couple of days. I just feel that anything left outside of the front door signals that you may not be at home or you could even be away on holiday, so more often than not I end up in hot pursuit of the Betterware representative as he makes his way down the road. Overdoor towel rails, not the most exciting product in the world but certainly a very useful thing to have. Our bathroom is compact, we have no room for a free standing towel rail or even a wall mounted...

...Heat magazine....... I have to admit it, although rather ashamed to, but I love a bit of trashy celebrity gossip on a regular basis. I find reading about the lives of people who get paid to be under the spotlight sometimes rather uplifting and as my friends are mostly into the same things as me it gives us something else to chat mindlessly about that isn't work or children! Heat magazine is, I find, the best celebrity magazine available although costing fractionally more than others on the shelves it is worth paying that bit extra for. Heat costs £1.65pence which is more than Closer which costs £1.30pence and Star that is sold at the bargain price of 65pence (not that I have gone out this evening and splashed out on all three magazines or anything!!!) Kitchen towel at a smart price!

...Everyone is looking for ways to save money at the moment and I recently looked at the kitchen towel in my kitchen and decided that I would try something cheaper for a week or two and see how I got on. Each roll has perforations and contains what appears to be a standard amount of kitchen towel. To use a piece I simply roll it out and then pull near the perforations and one piece will break away. I used this kitchen towel for a variety of things such as wiping my hands, cleaning up spillages and even for cleaning the windows. I found them to be absorbent and they didn't break up at all if I used them to do a little bit of scrubbing. Overall I couldn't find much different between these and the better brand. Advantages: Over the counter product providing good, fast pain relief for strained or sore muscles.
Disadvantages: It really does smell strong and everyone will know you have applied it!

...the towel after their bath and the hood prevents heat loss through the babys head. These towels can be bought as part of a set,which include face cloths.I'M not sure how much my son liked his towel as he has never been too impressed when I take him out of his bath!I don't think the screams are a comment on this product though!As you would expect the towel is absorbant,washes well, with no colour fade.These towels are available in a variety of lovely colours. Although they make a nice present I can't see much advantage over using a normal towel!It is another item to store! The towel is now used to wrap my sons baby doll in! Thanks for reading!...

Hooded towels

Advantages: look pretty, usually soft
Disadvantages: expensive, small, pretty useless

...I have fallen into the trap of buying hooded towels for both of my children and each time wondering why I bothered. Basically what they are are very small towels, more like hand towels, with an extra triangle shaped piece of towel sown into one corner in order to make a hood. This time I chose a Mothercare pack of three towels in shades of pink and white. This cost me £12, but if you shop around you can find them slightly cheaper at around £3 per towel, or a lot more expensive like toys r us at £9.99 per towel! I was disapointed with the mothercare ones as while in the pack they look quite thick and soft but upon opening you realise that the thickness comes from layers of cardboard wedged in between each towel! They are thin and not exactly rough but they could be softer. The idea is that you put the hood over the babys head...

...I was at work recently and unfortunately managed to hurt my shoulder by lifting a box which turned out to be much heavier than I had first thought it would be.
