Heinz baby food

Advantages: Quick and easy if out and about
Disadvantages: Very runny, not as thick as some babies like

...Heinz baby food has been around for a long time. I have used many makes of baby food but have found that althoughs Heinz give a great choice in baby food and a wide variety. The variety of food that you get are glass jars, tins, packets of dried food and also recently added are like little tubs with platic lids which you could keep and re use. They also have an organic range which comes under heinz but the normal unorganic packets are under the name of Farley's like the milk. The variety's you can get from 4 months, are breakfast, like porridge or apricot and strawberry breakfast which are dried packets which you then add your babies usual milk too. For a savoury meal you can have, garden vegetables with chicken or a vegetarian choice can be carrots with parsnips. For a pudding you can have fruits like apple or apple...

Heinz baby Food

Advantages: Convenient
Disadvantages: Makes you lazy

...When I first started to wean my son there were so many scare storys about what not to give a Baby I decided to play safe and use Jars and packets of baby Food. Of all the brands on offer Heinz seem to have a lot more choice and are at least 30% cheaper than other brands. There are a range of products suitable for 4 months and then from 7 months and i was impressed that as well as being clearly labelled the labels are also diferent colours for easy recognition. The variety sometime makes it difficult to choose. I also like the fact that there are two different sized jars to cope with babys changing appetite. My son particularly likes Baked Beans with bacon and all of the Fruit jars like Straberries and Cream and Banana Custard....

What my twins think of heinz baby food - stage 1

Advantages: Quick and easy, good variety
Disadvantages: Cheaper to make own food

...I gve my babies homemade food half the time and jars or tins of babyfood the rest of the time - to try and give them a variety of food. The main brand I use of baby food is Heinz. Heinz baby food comes in dry baby food in packets, cans and jars. They have a variety of breakfast food, savoury and desert. I will give you some info and tell you what my babies think of some of the stage one food (4 month onwards) that heinz do. 1. Heinz Farleys gluten free rusks. Ingredients: flours (rice, soya), maize starch, potato starch, sugar, vegetable oil, milk protein, calcium carbonate, emulsifier (lecithin), niacin (vitamin B3), iron, thiamin (vitamin b1), ribolavin (vitamin b2), vitamin D. How to serve: You can use these as a weaning food from 4 month mixed with either milk or water or as afinger food for older babies. What we...

Heinz Baby food, Connor be the judge

Advantages: Convenient when going anywhere, have a whole range of flavours
Disadvantages: can work out expensive, may limit your childs tastes and make it harder on the next weaning stage

...Hi, Connor is on the trail again! I am giving Connor's opinion on Heinz Baby food in Jars and Cans for 8 month olds. Connor has tried many different baby food products and does, at the moment, prefer Heinz jars to cans. Heinz do a wide variety of flavours, they have veggie alternatives as well and they range from 55p to 80p depending on where you buy them - his favourite at the moment is Chicken and Fruit Rissotto. He find's the jars are a little more runny than the cans and are easiler to swallow as the cans tend to be a little thick and glupey. I find that jars are very convenient as a working mum. Connor often has lunch or dinner at a child minders and these jars are easy to pack in a lunch box and carry around, they are also ideal for days out, as most restaurants will heat these up for you in a jug of hot water. If you...

Heinz Mums Own

Advantages: real food in a jar
Disadvantages: none

...I have tried everything to get my daughter to eat solids, with no luck. She was, what i thought a fussy eater. That was until ... I came across Heinz Mums Own. Mums own food doesn't contain any artificial additives or any G.M. foods. All pure natural food for you baby, just as though you have made the meals yourself. Nutritional value? The meals are everything that you would make yourself, but with the right quanities. Each jar contains real fruit, vegatables and meat. Each jar has the right amount of iron, vitamins and minerals that you baby needs with her meals. Also taken into account is the amount of milk that your baby is drinking. Menu Variety? Meals start from 4 months to over a year old. Loads of different types of breakfasts, lunches-dinners, and puddings, to fruit mixes. They also do a vegetarian options. The 7...

Heinz quality

Advantages: Superb rich taste
Disadvantages: More expensive than most other brands

...Background: As I am quite a fussy eater, I have always found Heinz Spaghetti a really useful addition to many different types of meal and it is something I really love. I tend to find most weeks when I go out shopping that I need a can of this to keep my cupboard stocked up. Heinz: Heinz has been a household name for generations. They sell their foods in over 200 countries, since the humble Baked Bean found its way on our shelves in 1886. Since then the company has expanded and increased its portfolio of products to include Tomato Ketchup, many varieties of soup, Salad Cream, Baby Food, Ravioli and Macaroni Cheese to name a few. In 1926 Heinz produced their first Spaghetti, which was made from Durum Wheat Pasta and Tomato sauce. It has many advantages other its competitors in that it is low in both fat content...

heinz nurture newborn formula milk

Advantages: nice packaging, easy to use
Disadvantages: didnt appear to do what it claimed on the pack

...Heinz nurture first milk (from newborn) this milk comes in both powdered and a liquid form. i bought the powder which comes in a rather attractive coloured pale green 900g tub.it is reasonably priced at around 7.99 a tub. It has a built in leveller which is very convenient and saves time, something of which any parent can appreciate! I was attracted to this milk with the claims that it containes 'Betapol" which is suposed to reduce constipation. It also contains 'alpha lactalbumin - a source of protein. Prebiotics aka friendly bacteria claiming to give better stool consistency, reduce constipation and reduce colic. It also contains 'nucleotides' which helps to build cells and support a healthy immune system. armed with all this information i marched down to the supermarket to buy it. With all these extra things added it had to be...

Review of Heinz Baby Food

Heinz and not a bean in sight

Advantages: Good choice of foods in varying age ranges, convenient
Disadvantages: work out expensive if using all the time

...Heinz do a wide range of foods in various age ranges. The first age range up to 6 months, come in smaller size cans with a ringpull, so can be used on the move. They look awful, smell awful and taste awful, apart from the stewed fruits and the apricot custard is lovely. They have a funny texture too. I gave tinned food to my son sometimes, and he loved the fishermans pie (awful smell of fish). As they get older, the food gets lumpier and more types of foods are added. Beans, pasta, bolognese and slightly stronger tasting sauces. By the third stage, you get lovely looking sauces with big chunks and some fancy foreign tastes are introduced. These are still a bit bland, but babies love them. When my 3 year old son was ill recently, my doctor told me to give him some bland soup. I watered down a heinz baby meal...

Review of Heinz Baby Food

Heinz baby food.

Advantages: Kids like the food .
Disadvantages: Expensive.

...I bought heinz baby food for my first child although my son liked the food espically the choclate puddings he was not keen on the dinners so the dinners got wasted I also found most of the food comes in tins so if you are out you end up throwing the food away which is a waste of money. I also found the boxs of baby food such as the breakfast were expensive at two pound a box and the jars and tins ranging from 50p to 70p if your child is eating three meals a day this works out at a lot of money ,its cheaper to purefie your own food and give that to your child than buying baby food. I would recommend this product to a friend because of the name but not the price....

Review of Heinz Baby Food

Heinz

Advantages: Variety, flavours
Disadvantages: Cost

...My 6 month has recently been introduced to many brands of baby foods, but he appears to prefer the heinz baby food overall. from the tastes i have had of the food, the majority of it does have a lot of flavour. they tins of food hold more than the jars and they tend to work out less too. the 4month tins hold 128g whereas the jars hold 125g. I have found that if you do not feed your little one within a certain time, the food turns to water! and then i have to break up bits of bread and coat them in the food and he loves it!! I have just been a bought the 7month jars because it is obvious that he prefers something he can chew. I again choose the heinz foods because of the flavours and cost. At the moment you can buy ten of the 7month jars of baby food for £3.50 at morrisons, or the smaller jars are ten for £3.00. The only one i...
