Advantages: Very tasty. Disadvantages: None really.
...Baked beans may seem a bit of a dull thing to review but I am sure that most of us quite enjoy baked beans on toast for a snack meal or a quick supper.
If you are going to really enjoy baked beans then more often than not a good brand name is the only way forward. I am rather partial to the Branston baked beans and I can often find them on offer at a very good price - in fact as little as 25p a tin.
Heinz have a whole range of baked beans with a difference and the Curry Beanz are one of them. We used to enjoy these curried beans a few years ago but I thought that they had been taken off the production line until I spotted them in Sainsbury's.
Now the Heinz Curry Beanz are a little more expensive but we both feel that they are still good value for money. A 200g tin of the curry beanz costs in the region of 47p and that tin...

The colour of the label is a green/blue colour. There is then a black shape with the words in white say Heinz and then under that it says in small green/brown letters " ESTD 1869 ESTD " and under that it says in the same white font as "Heinz" , " BAKED BEANS " and underneath is the words "in tomato sauce " in the small green/brown letters. The label also includes nutritional information along cooking guidelines , which I will come to later. To open the can you need to pull up the ring. If this does not work or breaks then you can turn the can upside down and open it normally...

Advantages: Quick to cook, very tasty, filling Disadvantages: Lots of cheap imitations
...Heinz baked beans are one of the number 1 snack foods you can buy.
If you want something that fills you up and leaves you feeling as if you have had a meal this is the one to go for.
Heinz is unlike any other brand of beans and their claim to quality is justified. Unlike other brands of beansHeinzbeans are well cooked (roasted) and packed in a thick creamy tomatoe sauce. A spoonful of Heinzbeans is chewy tasty and packed with flavour. I always enjoyed a tin of beans with toast but with heinz you dont really need anything else. In fact half a tin is enough for a snack. They are packed full of flavour and strength. It only takes 5 minutes from start to finish to get them heated and on your plate.
Because of the quality of heinzbeans you can use them in otherwise boring meals. They are nice with steak cut chips or a baked potatoe...
Advantages: Cheap, healthy, yummy Disadvantages: Side effects!!!
...I adore baked beans, so when I saw this I just couldn't resist!! Yesterdays reviews were just too serious, so I needed to make things more light hearted today!!.

Advantages: Good value, nice taste Disadvantages: More expensive than other brands
...We eat quite a lot of beans in our house, on baked potatoes, with sausage and mash, or our personal favourite? the cheesy beano toastie! Yummy! We have tried (and failed) to use cheaper brands in a bid to save a few pence but we always come back to Heinz? why?
Well, firstly, there is the matter of the taste of the bean sauce. I find that some supermarket own brands can have a rather bland tomato sauce, which makes the beans rather unappetising when you are eating them. Also I think that some brands of baked beans can be overly sweet, in particular some of the cheaper brands, but Heinz seem to have the balance right. It is not too sweet, but is sweet enough that the tartness of the tomatoes is compensated for. (I remember a particularly cheap tin of beans in times gone by had a tomato sauce that was so tart or bitter, that we...
Advantages: Part of a Brits' cultural make-up - ubiquitous Disadvantages: Clobbers the flavour of everything they get put with
...As a vegetarian, Sarah was beginning to flag after two months on land and rail through the Balkans - a diet of limp Greek salads, crusty pasta bakes and crummy pizza and chips left her feeling weak and hungry. She was yearning for some beans - Heinz baked beans, to be precise. Yet they were hard to come by - from the valleys and gorges of Bosnia to the Dalmatian coast all the way down to Dubrovnik, there was not a bean in sight. Then - finally, almost unexpectedly - a cafe in the Montenegran resort of Budva offered jacket potatoes with a variety of toppings. One of those toppings included Baked Beans!
The pictures of Sarah stuffing her face with baked beans are a delight, and it's typical of the British - all of Europe's delights there in front of you, but the edge is taken off because they can't get hold of some haricot beans in...
Advantages: Delicious, Excellent source of Vitamins and Protein Disadvantages: Make you Fart
...Ah, Heinz Baked Beans, yum, yum, you’ve got to love’em.
In light of Ciao’s decision to add food categories to the menu, I thought I’d add my expertise on the good old British dish of “Baked Beans on Toast”, those good old Beans in a rich tomato sauce, I absolutely love them and especially so if they include those little Pork Sausages, but I’ll concentrate this opinion mainly on the Baked Bean itself, seeing as though they take up about 80% of the tin.
So what exactly are Baked Beans?
Well, a tin of Baked Beans consists of Haricot Beans baked in an oven to a certain degree and then covered in a delicious Tomato Sauce with added secret spices, which are the secret to Heinz baked Beans having their own unique taste.
Baked Beans are an ideal source of protein, very low in fat, a good...
Advantages: very tasty, versatile, healthy, convinient Disadvantages: i wish i had tried it sooner..
...Baked beans are extremely popular world-wide and have been around for many decades. It is eaten by so many people on a daily basis. Even though Heinz baked beanz first appeared on our shelf's in Britain in 1886, it took another 40 years before they were actually made in the UK. However the first baked beans sold in the UK was in 1901 as a luxury item. In 1928 the first British-made Heinz Baked Beanz went on sale to an already hooked public.
When I go shopping I tend to buy a single 415g Heinz baked beanz can in Tesco for 64p, and sometimes I buy them in bulks say x4 pack for £2.17 which tends to a work out a bit cheaper and last longer.
Heinz baked beans have a really nice delicious taste, and flavour combined together with its thick rich sauce. The bakes beans is so versatile that you can eat it with so many different types...
Advantages: flavourfull meal in one Disadvantages: makes the house smell..
...I have just found Heinz backed beans, I have always gone for the cheap brands because I needed to keep my shopping bill as low as possible and with 6 mouths to feed beans are a good source of protein and fiber.
Now my story comes from the beans I used to buy, I tried lots of different brands and some of them are all right for the price that you pay. But then they were getting harder and harder in texture, that even the kids started to complain that they did not want beans because they were hard and no matter how long I cooked them for they would still be hard. So I had to think again so I bought some Heinzbeans, hence there was no complaints, ha I thought I will buy them again so I did and I have never bought any other beans since and the kids love them.
Disadvantages of giving the family beans, as you know the house is a little...
