...I absolutely adore Helena Rubinstein makeup, and this is no exception. These eye pencils come in several different colours (I have the black, brown, and violet), and they have just come up with a new "shimmering" line. It has the appearence of a normal eye pencil, with golden embossed HR logo and a really nice golden metal capsule on top. Really classy and expensive looking. The texture of both the black and brown pencils is very, very rich. It glides on, leaving loads of colour on. Very silky indeed - not at all like some other pencils that pull and irritate your skin. The violet is not quite so rich and "thick looking", and I believe that has to do with the colour - some colours are just easier to handle, I suppose.
