...King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. For example Doug is rather fat and so they definitely play this up on the show. He is generally always eating my Carrie facilitates this by buying him or making him his favourite foods. Silky, smooth, sultry eyes - all day long.

Advantages: Rich, highly pigmented colours. Very well tolerated.
Disadvantages: None.

...I absolutely adore Helena Rubinstein makeup, and this is no exception. These eye pencils come in several different colours (I have the black, brown, and violet), and they have just come up with a new "shimmering" line. It has the appearence of a normal eye pencil, with golden embossed HR logo and a really nice golden metal capsule on top. Really classy and expensive looking. The texture of both the black and brown pencils is very, very rich. It glides on, leaving loads of colour on. Very silky indeed - not at all like some other pencils that pull and irritate your skin. The violet is not quite so rich and "thick looking", and I believe that has to do with the colour - some colours are just easier to handle, I suppose. ...I have always considered my eyes one of my best features, but the only thing is its extending eyelashes to make them stand out more and look longer which I find hard to do. I have tried so many mascaras and for daytime use most of them work just fine in adding more volume to my lashes, however they do not add length. Bad Lashes?

Advantages: Really black colour, gives good thickening effect in one coat, easy to apply

...I'm not a big mascara fan - my sister spends an absolute fortune on the Lancome Hypnose, but having been lucky enough to inherit my Dad's dark, thick lashes, I don't see it as such a necessity so am pretty difficult to impress in the mascara stakes. I bought this in a set which contained Benefit's Dandelion, Benetint and this Bad Lashes Mascara - all for the bargain price of £43 - at £20 each for the Dandelion and the Benetint this was a bargain in itself and the mascara for me was an added bonus. This mascara promises "the biggest, baddest lashes" and that wearing this will be "like wearing false eyelashes without the glue". Quite a bold claim! ...I was quite shocked to see that ITV were screening the Oscar winning movie "The Queen" already on Sunday night, so I knew I had to tune in to see what all the fuss was about. As you may or may not know, The Queen won lead actress Helen Mirren an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, a Screen Actors Guild Award and an Award at the Venice Film Festival for being the Best Actress, along many others both for Helen Mirren, and the film was a whole. It has been hugely successful, and because of this I was thoroughly looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about! Advantages: The performances of the whole cast, subtle and powerful

The Absolute Greatest Songs From Queen

Advantages: It's aimed more at newbies to Queen rather than die hard fans. It's still awesome though
Disadvantages: There's no point for diehard fans to get this, nothing new.
