...As I have stated in my other reviews, I am a bit of a nosy parker and I love looking at what is going on in other peoples lives. Why? No other reason then because I love people watching. Looking at what others are doing, how others live their life. Everyone is different. This also includes celebrities. I am not a huge fan of the news, but, celebrity news... now that is what I am interested in. You can call me shallow, sad, whatever?. But I can not help it and I am not ashamed to say I actually reading about Victoria Beckham and her day out shopping for specially made blue metallic Bonsai trees (or something along those lines?.!) Hello Igglepiggle

Advantages: The children love it
Disadvantages: Not great for grownups, irritating songs which get repeated all the time!

...This has been a very welcome addition to my childrens DVD collection from Father Christmas but maybe not my choice! BACKGROUND The night garden is a new show which is shown on the CBeebies chanel. Children of all ages enjoy this show which is set in a magical garden which only appears at night. Characters include Igglepiggle, Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy, the Pontipines and the Tombliboos. Despite the weird names and the unusual looks of the characters the children seem to be drawn into the show. None of the characters talk properly but the shows are narrated. The DVD contains 5 stories from the popular childrens show. STORIES 1 - Igglepiggle's Blanket in Makka Pakka's Ditch This story starts with us seeing Makka Pakka cleaning his Og-Pog and the items which he keeps on it. She must have been paid for the photo shoot and interview and they plug her bloody VHS or DVD as well. · We are then graced with 11 pages showing the reception of Bryan McFatten, oops I mean McFadden and Kerry Katona which took place in an Irish castle. Around now I was starting to think that this magazine is made up of the other half rubbing our proverbial noses in it. I mean we are not talking people who need the money. Westlife are still doing well in the charts and Kerry must have earned good money with Atomic Kitten, but still they had sold the rights to both their wedding and reception to Hello magazine. The only thing I can hope is that these two 21 year olds did it for their fans (yeah right). I guess it just goes to show you can never have too much money. It is nice to know that when we buy...

...Are our lives really so empty that we feel we have to fill the void by reading about "celebrities'" lifestyles? Today I have been unfortunate enough to have been given a copy of Hello! magazine (there is no way on this earth I would buy it). Still - there is one good thing to come from it - an opportunity to write an opinion for Ciao. Hello! magazine is a glossy mag full of pictures of celebrities arriving at parties, celebrities at award ceremonies, celebrities relaxing in their 10 acre mansions; oh, yes, and let us not forget the frequent articles on the Royal Family and anyone even remotely connected with the Royals. ...When I was in need of a new shampoo and conditioner I was delighted to find the new Herbal Essences range on BOGOF in Boots. I had used the previous range in the past and was more than happy to buy a big bottle of the shampoo and the conditioner for about £3 and collected my Advantage card points as well. I selected the Hello Hydration products as I have highlighted hair that I do subject to heated appliances on a regular basis. I always select products designed for damaged or dry hair and so luckily I have been keeping my hair in reasonable condition. The product is presented in a lovely looking blue bottle with promises of orchid and coconut extracts. Clearly influenced by folk singer-songwriters from yesteryear, such as Dylan and Leonard Cohen, the light ballady folk music will impress fans of either of his contemporaries, and generally anyone who appreciates good, if not overly complex music.
