This fact, coupled with the harsh air con which is blasting down on me all day long, has lead to me having the unfortunate problem of dry hands most days. It's not an unbearable problem, but it is something which distracts me from work a little bit as it makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable. Due to this, I have started buying handcream and keeping it by my desk for those moments when I need it. Light up your desk or not

...Just before Christmas I brought myself I new desk for my computer and I decided that I would also get myself a lamp for the desk as I only had the main light of the room, so I had a look round and found this one, it looked ideal. ~Product~ It is an adjustable lamp. You have the option of moving 3 different parts of the lamp. Let this help your hands

Advantages: Ideal for dry hands that need a bit of looking after

...I spend alot of time outside with the horses, so during the winter my hands really suffer with the cold as do most peoples, however in the summer my hands don't get a break either! When your grooming horses, mucking a stable out and filling water buckets your hands are constantly being mistreated and end up becoming dry very easily. At work I see clients all the time and there is nothing worse than shaking someone's hand which is dry and chapped. It's important for me to keep my hands in as good a condition as they can be. Lush Helping Hands has come in so useful, I have a bottle of this in my desk at work and in my handbag! With a little help...

...When I was younger I thought that hand cream was something for old ladies. However, now that I have hit the crisis-filled mid thirties I can look around the house and find a pot, a bottle or a tube of the stuff in just about every room. I currently have hand cream by Palmers, by Molten Brown, by L?Occitane, by Clinique and by Lush. My favourite sits in the kitchen, where it gets used the most and it is called ?Helping Hands?. I partly like it the most because of its glorious smell, but that alone would not be enough, oh no. What really makes me like it best is that it can moisturise my dry winter hands far far longer than any of the other products I own. It comes in a cute little black pot which is simplicity itself. Lush are generally more concerned than most to do as little damage as possible to the environment...

...I would just like to write a review on Help Yourself, the latest installment in the series of books by Dave Pelzer. We all know of his previous three books, that all chart his struggles as a child - as we know now, his case was actually in fact one of the worst ever recorded in American history. But anyway, we digress from the matter that is at hand here. This 'final chapter' shows us the lessons or challanges that Dave Pelzer learnt throughout his early years, and shows us how to overcome our own fears by using these in our own way. These lessons include resolving to take a stand, and having a cheerful disposition to name but those few that jumped out at me from the book. It talks to no end on how you can best overcome your past, basically by helping yourself by way of positive thought; taking a stand, and so on. However...

Allow Lush to give you a helping hand!

...I received 45g of this product when I purchased a Lush Think Pink gift set in February 2009, I received 12 products for £43.99 and this was one of them. The product is supplied in one of two ways, a 45g pump action black bottle or a 100g black pot (as showed in the picture here on Dooyoo) if you get it in the 100g size you can keep the pot once finished and return it to Lush for with 4 other pots for a free fresh face mask (how great is that!). The pump action bottle works great and is the perfect size for your handbag. I find that just one light press on the pump gives me enough hand cream to cover both hands sufficiently. The product itself is like pink in colour and very creamy indeed, it has a slight smell to it which I believe is caused by the cocoa butter & shea butter in the product. Advantages: Some good music - not just the Beatles but also some classical and operatic tracks.
Disadvantages: A bit dated now and not much of a story line.

...Richard Lester's HELP! was released in 1965 and is the Beatles' second feature film. A sequel to the inspired A HARD DAY'S NIGHT it cost nearly three times as much as its predecessor and isn't nearly as aesthetic or funny in comparison, but like an old lady and her favourite soap opera I'm drawn to it all the same. Members of an evil cult go out of their crazy ways to get hold of a sacred ring that's been given to Ringo by a Beatles fan. The difficulty lies in the fact that poor old Ringo is wearing the ring ("hey, someone's got hold of me finger!") and that the ring won't come off. Ringo asks a scientist for help, but the scientist has this crazy, crazy idea that "with a ring like that I could - dare I say it? - rule the world".
