True Herbal Essence smelling dye-weird!

Advantages: Doesn't smell chemically, leaves hair soft
Disadvantages: Doesn't take to red hair very well

.... The Process After mixing the dye with the creamy mixture (while wearing gloves!!), I start to apply the dye to my hair. Instantly you are hit with the familiar smell of herbal essence, totally unexpected as I never believed they could get rid of the horrible chemical smell, although this is most probably due to the lack of ammonia and other harmful chemicals in the dye. The bottle has a tip on the end so is easy to apply, although it is best to comb all the dye through the hair to allow for even coverage. After this, I was allowed into the living room (as I didn't smell!) and could get on with reading the papers for half an hour or so, before running upstairs to was it all off. Obviously you have to wash it until the water runs clear, but I could stay there for half an hour and it still wouldn't run clear. No amount of shampoo can make the water...

.Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo

Advantages: It's organic
Disadvantages: none

...Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo My mum and sister brought this shampoo because they both like dying their hair and my sister?s hair is permed. I just used it because it was the only shampoo I could find, but my hair is a little dry, so any way I tried the shampoo and it was jus like any other shampoo except it did make my hair a little less dry than usual. Any way here are all the good points and things I can think of about it. . The smell is all right, it smells of roses and the smell is long lasting. . It makes your hair look healthy and gives it body. . It's organic. . After using it your hair feels silky smooth and it shines. . This shampoo comes in a 400ml bottle, and from the ones I have seen the liquid is usually pink. . They're priced averagely about £2.19. . It is soft, not sticky and you...

An Essence of Brilliance!

Advantages: Gorgeous scent, will last you a while, leaves hair soft and shiny
Disadvantages: None

...Despite the fact my bathroom windowsill is full to bursting with various bottles of shampoos (all used a tiny bit and then replaced with the newest one!) I couldn't resist buying another 3 bottles whilst browsing in Superdrug the other day. They were on such a good offer I couldn't resist, and I knew if I didn't like them, my fiance would use them as he isn't fussy about what shampoo he uses! One of the bottles I picked up was Herbal Essences Silk n Shine shampoo in a pretty pink bottle, so based on that fact I decided to try this one first. Herbal Essences are a brand of shampoos produced by the haircare company Clairol. They have an extensive product catalogue made up of various shampoos and conditioners for different hair types. You probably know the company from the infamous TV adverts of the woman shouting "yes, yes, YES!" in...

New Herbal Essences Range - bring back the old!

Advantages: bigger bottle, same price
Disadvantages: Far lower quality product and nothing like the brilliant salon quality before

...I have been a huge fan of herbal essences Rainforest flowers range for a number of years and used it religously. As I am blessed with Greasy hair that needs a wash every day and have long hair, I was probably one of their best customers. I say was. I too stocked up on the new range with the new giveaways when they brought them out. Confusing to say the least. I was using the Red bottled Dry/damaged shampoo and conditioner which came with the free "hello hydration" bottles, but reading the back of the old shampoo it said "your new shampoo will be called frizz fighter" so that was confusing to start off with. Over the years of using the old Herbal Essences range I've had compliments from both my hairdresser and friends on how brilliantly glossy and conditioned my hair is, despite having soft highlights in it for a number...

HERBAL ESSENCES THE NEWEST BEST SHAMPOO YET

Advantages: Great shampoo, smells lovely, loads of variety in type
Disadvantages: None really

...I'm quite surprised that no one has wrote an opinion on this new shampoo yet! (You can also buy the conditioner as well) It's only been out for about a month in most leading beauty stores and supermarkets, but still it's so good it definitely deserves a good op! This is the newest brand of shampoo and conditioner by 'Alberto Balsam' There the best shampoo and conditioner that I've ever used on my hair leaving it feel wonderful, clean, healthy and fresh smelling. This opinion that I'm about to write is on the shampoo, my next opinion will surely be one on the conditioner though! These new herbal Essences range is very popular from what I've heard around in the shops and from talking to my friends. I can see why too! You can buy many different flavours and types of the shampoo. I bought the 'Sun Kissed Rasberry' one and was VERY...

Herbal Essences - Hello Hydration (new range)

Advantages: Lovely smell, great results
Disadvantages: Not keen on packaging

...I got this as a sample in the post after a free samples link went round at work. I?ve never used Herbal Essences shampoo before but had noticed it more since the new packaging that came out this month. (Although I?m actually not that keen on the new packaging) The samples came folded into a nice envelope with loads of details about the new range printed on it. Despite not being that keen on the new bottles I did like the presentation of the samples I received, everything looks really bright and fun and it is eye catching and suits the range which I known for being really fruity and fresh. What it promises? ?Quench thirsty hair with our moisturizing shampoo fused with orchid & coconut milk. Essential moisturizers help replenish your pretty, parched head with hair that is silky and supple.? Usually I go for volume...

Herbal Essences - Quality Shampoo & Conditioner

Advantages: Smells great, good quality, good variety
Disadvantages: not the cheapest!

...I have always had a nightmare trying to find the best shampoo and conditioner for my hair. I have quite thick and wavy long hair so trying to find a shampoo that will help me calm it down has been a nightmare - especially one that will stop the frizz! I even tried Frizz ease and found that of no help. Herbal Essences has not only helped keep my hair more undercontrol and non frizzy it also smells great with a variety of fruity choices - my favourite being Fruit Fusions! I often find it on BOG in tesco's etc as well so I definetly would say it is value for money - Its not an expensive shampoo and conditioner in comparisons to others and I personally would continue to buy it if it was any dearer due to the fact of the quality - I have tried alternatives and still do occasionally since using HE but have found no comparison...

The essence of a good shampoo

Advantages: Bouncy soft and shiney hair
Disadvantages: none

...Introduction I decided to do this op on Herbal essences shampoo with "botanical shine" because when I used this today for the first time ,I was pleasently surprised at the outcome. I came to buy it when I found it at my local supermarket in a BOGOF (buy one get one free offer). And at £1.99 for two bottles I decided to give it a go. Product This shampoo is designed with fine hair in mind, aiming to give extra body and shine. It is made with natural, organic herbs and botanicals (flowers/plants),this particular bottle is made with marigold flowers, angelica and thyme. Herbal Essences products are made by Clairol which in turn is a division of Proctor and Gamble based in Weybridge,Surrey. It comes in 250 ml bottles, made from clear 25% recycled plastic which in turn are recyclable. The adhesive label on the back...

Clairol herbal essences

Advantages: smells gorgeous for days
Disadvantages: Can be a bit pricy in some stores

...Clairol Herbal Essences I was shopping in Safeway the other day and I needed to buy some more shampoo. I have previously used different brands and I wanted to buy the dove shampoo, but they didn?t have any left. So I started looking for another brand. I noticed Clairol herbal essences because of the bottle. It comes in a 250ml bottle with clear packaging and has a lovely picture of a bunch of roses on the back, which you can see through the pink, coloured content. Clairol use 25% post consumer recycled plastic for their bottles and they?re also recyclable so it helps save the environment too. It costs £2.19 but when I looked closer, it was on a ?buy one get one free? offer so I got the conditioner to go with it as well. What a bargain!!!!!! You can buy different bottles for different hair types for example, greasy...

Herbal Essences - OH YES !!

Advantages: The best smelling shampoo ever!
Disadvantages: Makes you hungry! or maybe thats just me hehe

.... With this shampoo I didn't. Whether it was this fact or just the fact that they are excellent products, my hair felt dreamy afterwards. Like the shampoo, when applying the conditioner, it makes, not a lather, but a silky creamy coat for your hair that smells just as nice as the shampoo. It leaves your hair smelling gorgeous and tangle free. How much is it? I haven't found one store that is particularly cheaper than the rest and can't quote exactly on the price but for the 250ml bottles, they are normally about £2.80. No more expensive I believe than other leading brands and in stores such as Tesco and Morrisons there are normally BOGOF offers on them which I find useful when wanting to buy the conditioner too. My experience. I first tried Herbal Essences Shampoo a few years ago and can honestly say that I have stuck with them up...
