Advantages: Very quick at preview and scan

...I brought the Hp scanjet 4200c scanner second hand over two years ago and have found it to be a good buy although due to a dodgy repair by the prevous owner only half of my scanner works but i still say that is one of the best scanners around. It does not do negatives but then only the expensive ones do. Basically it does all you could want it to do. The preview time using the Windows xp scanner and camera wizzard it takes just 15 secs to do a preview. The avarage scan time is just 25 secs on a normal A4 scan. It is a very easy product to use and well worth the money. Any one who buys this scanner will not regret buying it because it so fantastic.... Read review

There is also an 8300gp model of this scanner which is a Graphic Arts scanner and has a monitor color-meter calibrator as a added feature ideal for graphic designers. Now about the HP ScanJet 8300, the scanner has an OR (Optical Resolution) of 4800x4800dpi and will scan high dynamic range in 48bit colour. This is fine for transparency and negative scanning. The scanner has a max reflection area of around A4 size. HP includes film holders which will hold 3 strips, 6 frames of a 35mm film. The holders can be placed in the base of the scanner for storage. ...The HP ScanJet 3300C is a good all-round scanner. It has a good colour sensitivity and resolution and is very easy to use, with scan and print buttons on the machine. The only thing that it lacks is an email button, which higher versions do have. The only real problem with it is that it takes quite a while to actually scan things, although I think this is true for most scanners. I think that this scanner is very good value for money and too make things better I even got the Pagis Pro 2.0 package and a piece of software called PowerGoo. You would probably want to get a newer scanner than this, but if you want something relatively cheap go for this.... Read review

...HP 22 COLOUR INKJET PRINT CARTRIDGE My previous Hewlett Packard printer recently decided to call it a day, and join printer heaven via the local recycling centre. I ended up buying a Hewlett Packard Printer / Scanner / Copier which takes HP 21 and HP 22 Inkjet Print Cartridges. HP 22 PACKAGING AND CONTENTS The packaging itself makes it look as if you are getting a larger cartridge than the one you actually get. For those of you that are into minimal packaging, then I would say that there is too much packaging, in the form of cardboard, and depending on where you buy them from, these are then further packaged into a see through plastic holder. The cartridges that I have bought recently come from various parts of the world, but include Singapore. The ink cartridge itself is only 5 ml, and will print approximately 165 pages... Read review

...I have used the Epson Perfection 610 scanner for the past 4 months. It is a very versatile machine with very high resolution capability for its price. I have used it to copy colour photographs and print them off using a Hewlett Packard HP 840 C colour printer, on HP gloss photographic quality paper,and the end result is almost indistinguishable from the original photograph! It is very easy to use, and I am extremely pleased with it. I am glad I did not have the bog-standard scanners that are provided with most of the dept store "packages" these days!... Read review

...Well the time finally cam for me to say goodbye to my scanner. I have had this scanner for about 7 months and it was the best scanner i have had until now. The HP Scanjet 3670 is a digital flatbed scanner which is able to scan both colour and black and white. All the images that i have produced on it have been clear and crisp and i havent had one that has come out badly scanned or blurry. The scanner has a 1200-dpi optical resolution and 48-bit color. The HP Scanner is fast and easy to use. When i have been finished with it i have been able to store it in a small place as it doesnt take up much room. With the scanner comes HP Photo & Imaging software which is so easy to learn and use, this cd room allows you to work with the latest HP imaging products and you can have great fun creating things with your scanned images such as funny... Advantages: colour quality, can scan negatives

...There are a vast array of A4 flad bed scanners on the market today. Even some of the basic ones from 600 dpi offer superb results. I decided to look for one in the 600dpi+ range that not only scans photos and objects but also allows you to scan in negatives (very useful for old photos etc) The HP products are renounced for reliabilty, quality and reproducibilty and are not always cheap. However when I found the HP scanner of my choice HP5370 it appeared to have the same technical sppecification and features as a similarly priced EPSON 1240U Photo, BUT the HP is at least £55 cheaper!! This is strange! If anyone can give a true comparison between these 2 scanners: HP5370C v's EPSON Perfection 1240U Photo They are both 1200 x 2400 dpi optical Both are 42bit colour Both have film./slide adapter to scan negatives too!
