My essential travelling companion -my hp pavilion 2000x laptop
Advantages: Small and powerful , tablet form and touch screen, speedy, two batteries
Disadvantages: a bit heavy for travelling
...Hewlett Packard Pavilion tx 2000
I have had this little laptop for over a year now. I feel it was quite expensive compared to what is available now; I think I paid about £600 from Staples for the laptop and three year warranty. It is not exactly a net book but it is a small laptop. The screen size is 12.5? diagonally and the keyboard is a decent size with a laptop type mouse pad in the middle front. I have weighed this (very important when travelling) and it weighs just under 2kg with one battery and just over that with the larger battery. The CD drive is also removable and can be replaced with an empty plastic cover which also reduces weight when travelling. It is small, neat, shiny black with rounded corners and silver keyboard. The screen swivels round completely and will lie flat as a tablet style over the keyboard.

the HP Pavilion entertainment.
Advantages: great entertainment laptop
Disadvantages: portability
...This laptop is the HP Pavilion dv9820ea Entertainment. The Hp Pavilion models are made mainly for gaiming, watching movies on and various other entertainment needs whilst not compromising the ability to od serious work on these as well. One thing that is compromised though is the portability, entertainment laptops are made to keep at home and not really to carry about with you all the time, so whilst the specification may look good, don?t expect one of these to be very portable.
The Pavilion dv9820ea combines two colours, silver and black in order to make it look very up to date and futuristic even. It appears nice and rounded, and its shell makes the laptop feel very stable and robust.
The installed ram on this laptop is great, it has a massive 3gb which is the main reason this laptop runs so fast, also the AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile...

HP Pavilion dv5
Advantages: Good quality laptop, great appearance
Disadvantages: Games are a no-no.
...A well designed, high quality affordable laptop, the HP pavilion dv5 doesn't fail to please in looks, performance or price.
In terms of look and design, flashy is a good word for it. It has a glossy black case which shines in the light, then you open it. The keyboard-surround is split horizontally: the bottom half is very light silver with a white check pattern, and the upper half perforated silver plastic. Around the edge of the laptop, there is a chrome-effect strip which sparkles and shimmers. Even the mouse pad has a finish that is so reflective you can see your face in it. This is the 'bling-bling' of the laptop world. It also feels pretty solid, I don't think you would be able to break it easily and I have faith in it's durability and robustness. It is also quite light, weighing 2.65kg, not bad for a laptop it's size.
Ok...

Will HP be waiting on the Pavilion?
Advantages: Speedy, solid, reliable, HP
Disadvantages: A budget laptop
...Well the Acer packed in and with the warranty the store gave us credit (apparently the Acer that we had had become obselete and there was none in stock). So with the £400 or so store credit my mother wisely (and under her own guidance as far as I know) picked the HP Pavilion DV6000 (as far as I'm aware theirs no difference between this and the T model though if there is, I'm sorry). Quite why My mother (darling mother of mine) decided to ever get the pile of fecial matter that Acer claimed was a laptop I was never quite to sure, as everything in it came to peices, the keys flew off, the screen was...well dead, the AV charge wire was..erm..well dead too. Why couldn't she have gone after a real solid, well worked peice of kit like this first time round Im not sure.
So HP's...what do I think of them?
Well I'd basically take a bricky out...

HP Pavilion a810uk reliable Computer
Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: The heatsink and fan
...or installed later if you already have a paid for disc for Office. Other programs included are Norton Anti Virus and firewall. Quicken, win dvd, and HP Tunes media.
My conclusion is that I find that this is a good value for money computer and one that I find that I will have no immediate need to replace for a long time. Definetely a good computer in the budget low cost computer division....

The HP Pavilion Slimline s3821 Media Box
Advantages: Fast, built in WI-FI, Nice HD Graphics, 15 in 1 memory card reader and portable media bay.
Disadvantages: Too much like a PC and not enougth like a media device
...The HP Paviion Slimline s3821 uk-p is a very competitively priced HTPC and very good value for money.
The HP Pavilion s3821 is powered by a Dual ? Core processer giving it the higher clock speed needed by HTPC?s. The higher clock speed allows programs like Photoshop and I-Tunes to run correctly without lag and generally giving it a media heart. It?s not the smallest in its range but that allows it to have a nice sized graphics card init. It also has a HDMI port provided by its nice sized graphics card, allowing it to plug straight into your HDTV. This does appear to be an added extra which is absent in the other PC?s of its range. It has a 15 in 1 memory card reader on the front along with the usual HP Pocket Media Drive bay (which is sold seperatly0, but is again one of those features that just aren?t seen in others of its range. It...

HP Pavilion
Advantages: Nice looking, Great first time computer.
Disadvantages: Monitor a bit on the big and bulky side and really heavy
...So why did I buy a Hewlett Packard Pavilion, was it because there was a nice bloke trying to sell me the PC??? No it wasn?t it was because the computer itself does look nice.
We have two computers in our house, one is a HP Pavilion 8775, and the other is a laptop. We never use the desktop PC anymore as after buying a laptop its so much easier.
I thought id give you my views on the HP Pavilion, it is a nice computer, we have had it for about 2 years now. It?s never gone wrong.
We bought it from PC World we took out extra insurance get in case of these little accidents, or if it needed repairing, so it cost just under £1300.
The insurance still has till 05/06 till it runs out, so in my eyes it was well worth paying the extra to get it covered.
With this it came with an Intel webcam, defiantly not the greatest of webcams...

The Hp Pavilion dv6500t
Advantages: Design, speed, durability
Disadvantages: battery life
...I am the proud owner of one of these hp pavilion dv6500t laptops. It has a 15.4" Brightview display and the processor is an intel centrino duo (core 2 duo). The quality of the images displayed on the screen are excellent and overall the processor is very fast (one of the fastest laptops i have ever used). It has a memory of up to 2GB RAM which is more than enough for normal use (work/leisure). Another benefit of this laptop is the number of external connections it has - 3 USB ports, a s-video port, memory card slot (very useful if copying videos/pictures from a camera or video recorder), hdmi slot and some others that i have never used. There is a port for an external microphone and two headphone slots. It also has a webcam which records videos in a very high quality. It is also very easy to use, has a beautiful design and is quite light...

The Very Sexy HP Pavilion
Advantages: Remote control, touch controls and an integrated 1.3 megapixels web cam
Disadvantages: The battery life and the Windows Vista operating system
...I recently accquired the HP Pavilion dv6331eu in an exchange with John Lewis for my old laptop, which had broken down. I am currently writing this review using my HP Pavilion and I must say so far so good. I have taken a personal shine to this laptop immediately and is a vast improvement from my last laptop, which was not very old at all.
This laptop has been expertly designed and finished to have an extremely pleasing cosmetic look and style even before the lid is opened. With its black exterior, polished black lid and screen mount and the silver keyboard surround it looks very classy, elegant and expensive. The presentation is complimented with the touch controls for sound and quickplay to emphasise the top of the range essence that it beams. The final cosmetic feature of this laptop is the handy slim remote control. I personally...
