Review of Canon HF100
Advantages: Aesthetically pleasing and incredibly cheap. Disadvantages: Not the most comfortable headphones in the world, sound is a little bass heavy.
...When I first started out DJing some years back I was a student on an incredibly tight budget; I made sure I bought myself a decent pair of decks that would last a good few years, this therefore meant that I had to compromise in other areas however. When looking for a cheap pair of headphones there are quite a few models out there on the market from various different companies; Numark's HF125 headphones were the ones that caught my eye however and this is a budget pair of entry-level headphones still being bought by many today. When I bought my pair I believe they cost a price of roughly £12, today however they can be picked up from Amazon.co.uk for the mere price of £7.99; an absolute bargain in my opinion and absolutely perfect if you're just starting out as a DJ and looking to purchase a cheap pair of headphones. Advantages: Neat, fits almost anywhere, good sound Disadvantages: No mains charger.
...I wanted a handsfree unit for the car which I could swop from vehicle to vehicle and this does the job perfect. Not too big in size and very stylish looking, the Nokia HF-310 is I think great value for money.
Tuning in
To sync the unit to your phone you just search bluetooth devices on your phone and it finds the HF-310 instantly. When you have to switch the unit off then back on on it automatically sync's to your phone.
Answering
When you receive a call you just have to press the large button in the middle of the unit and the callers voice comes over load and clear. The volume can be adjusted by turning the surround that goes round the edge of the unit,very neat.
Calling
You can call the last number by pressing the button twice, handy if you just want to call someone back.

Review of Nokia HF-310

...I have been waiting for some time to buy into HD technology, with a trip to the US looming I decided to take the plunge and buy the Canon HF10. Having spent a few days getting to know this product I an very pleased with the camcorder in general and the results, its not perfect, but certainly one of the best flash memory camcorders available.
The palm sized unit is small and despite its plastic case seems to be reasonably well built. I find it very easy to use, although Canons menu syatem is a bit different to what I have seen on thier still cameras. Image and sound quality of the HD footage is stunning, autofocus is fast, image stabilisation (optical) also seems to work very well.
The camera has 16gb of internal storage built in and accepts SD cards for additional capacity. Battery life is OK around 60-70 minutes, I got a spare...

...I needed a second car to play around. I wanted it to be fast ,relatively good looking and cheap. It is quite difficult to find a car with that kind of features and a low price tag ... except if it's old. I loved the looks of Lancias for many years now; from the time i watched Integralies swiping off the championships i wanted one. An Integrale is quite expensive for a toy so i dropped one class down .. HF turbo 1.6 .
These cars becoming rare very fast so it was a bit difficult to find one.
I finally bought a 90' car with 86k on the clock , 4 owners, Grally bumper, quad lights and rear wing. No logbook ,some service history, no MOT or Tax (of course). It was really good looking so i say for £750
i would have some money to through on it and get it up to MOT standards.

its got 140 bhp which isnt bad for a 1600 cc engine, which has a double overhead camshaft power unit with electronic fuel injection and turbocharging systems, making it do at least 130 mph, 0-60 in about 8 secs.
rally bred performance and reliability are emphasised by excellent driving and handling carecteristics on the road.
the interior is designed and finished to meet the demanding needs of both driver and passenger, i just love to drive my lancia, any exscuse and im out cruising, listening to my pioneer sterio system.

...We had managed for years with an old freezer and separate fridge. The freezer was so old that it needed de-icing every few weeks otherwise it got to the point where it was more ice that food.
We decided to treat ourselves to a new fridge freezer just before Christmas.
We visited Currys and bought a Hoover Frost Free Fridge/Freezer. The original asking price was £450.00. The sale price was £370.00 and Currys had a 10% off weekend, so we ended up paying £333.00. We also managed to talk the sales assistant into waving the £12.00 delivery charge.
Sorry back to the point. The fridge/freezer is a Hoover HF40C frost-free model with a 12.cu ft capacity. It is wonderful. We never realised how poor our old appliances were until we acquired the new appliance.
