As Def Jam Vendetta (DJV) was a new series it had to come into the gaming world with a bang; and it did. This game gave you the answer to "Who would win a fight out of Methan Man and Redman?" or "Could anyone beat DMX in a fight?". In DJV some of the most well known artists on the Def Jam record label featured, including: Ludacris, Joe Budden and Ghostface Killah, as well as a selection of made-up characters with unique personalities and fighting styles. This is a wrestling game but some styles can effect how if you rely on grapples mainly, or strikes. ...Def Jam Vendetta is a wrestling simulation. Unlike the Smackdown! series this game is based on the hip-hop Def Jam record label instead of proffesional wrestlers. So you won't be seeing the likes of The Rock, Randy Orton or Batista instead you'll be seeing DMX, Nore and Ludracris. Def Jam Vendetta is developed by the AKI Corporation who used to develop the WCW wrestling games until it became defunt in November 2001. EA Big publishes the game instead of EA Games. Advantages: GOOD SOUNDTRACK
Disadvantages: GAMEPLAY; VARIETY OF MOVES;

...Awful Awful Awful!!! Very disappointed with this game!! It only cost me £20 brand new but still felt that I was ripped off! You start off where, as usual you have a choice of characters to choose from, which there is a few who are the stars of the Def Jam Record label then you move on to fight!! Graphics aren't that good but the music is great as it's all pretty new Hip Hop music which appeals to me but then there's the gameplay!! That's when it gets ugly!! There are very few moves to use when you are fighting which is very poor for a fighting game, it's very slow and you don't have a health bar, you have to guess your health by the background colouring which I found very awkward to use. I played this a few times as I thought I was doing something wrong but the same happened every time. Again, very disappointed...

Def Jam FFNY.

Advantages: Addictive gameplay.
Disadvantages: Not enough gameplay time!

...Like gore and street fighting? Then you'll love the newest version of the ever so popular Def Jam Fight For New York. It was founded in 1984 and has been a huge success ever since. The Universal company was founded in the US and includes such successes as Def Jam recordings and other revolutionary computer games. The game mainly consists of black rappers participating in violent street fights not suitable for young children. It is a close follow up of the ever so successful Def Jam for the PS2 and as we already know, there is going to be a new one for the PS3 and XBOX 360 called Def Jam ICON which does actually look quite appealing. But after a friend told me she was wanting to get tickets for herself, me and our 2 daughters I decided to go. So what is Hi-5? Originating in Australia and introduced to the Uk through Milkshake the morning kids programmes on Channel 5 and Uk Living TV. This consists on 5 cast members! 3 Gorgeous stunning women who make all mums cringe at wobbly bits, Charli, Kellie and Kathleen, make up teh stunning trio and are fabulous dancers as well as singers. Hi-Five for the Hi-Fi

...the status of the device - lighting green when the volume is adjusted or a track skipped and flashing green for 10 seconds when the iPod is paused. The iPod itself sits in a docking port on the top of the device - adapters are provided so that you can use any iPod model with the HiFi. It sits, in the centre, at a slightly reclined angle and this it my only real concern about the whole thing. There's not much holding the iPod in place other than the docking connector, so while the whole thing is of a size that you COULD walk down the high street with it on your shoulder, the iPod is held precariously enough that I would strongly advise against it. That said, in the last 2 months I've not had any problems fitting, removing the iPod. Also on the top are two touch-sensitive buttons, labelled "-" and "+" which, unsurprisingly, control the volume...

'Hello' is far better than 'Hi'!

...This book is certainly not one of Martin Waddell's better known publications. He is probably most well-known for Owl Babies and Snow Bears but I will list some other books by him towards the end of the review. This book is certainly not one of my favourite of his books but it's a pleasant enough story. - The story - Harry is a tortoise and like all tortoises he is very slow. He sits around looking for someone to play with so when Buster the rabbit comes along, Harry says "Hi, Buster. Can I play with you?" Being a fast animal, Buster simply replies that he can't stop and has to keep going. A badger comes along and Harry asks the same thing but viirtually the same response is given and the same happens with the mouse. Feeling quite sad, Harry wishes that he had someone just as slow as him to play with.........he wanders...
