Biorb - The Hi Tec Fish Bowl

Advantages: Easy to maintain - eyecatching design
Disadvantages: Bit more pricey than normal aquariums

...I had always wanted an aquarium but thought that it would be too much trouble to set up and look after. I entered a competition on the web to win an aquarium and lo and behold I actually won one. An aquarium called a Biorb made by a company called Reef One. With this aquarium there was a difference. The Biorb combines the looks of a traditional gold fish bowl with the performance of a hi-tech aquarium. It holds 30 litres of water and has it's own built in filtration system which provides maximum benefits to both the fish and the fish keeper. Phillips shavers come in various guises and models from the most expensive "sensotec" range at £188 followed by the " cool skin" range with moisturising cartridges at £149. Next is the "quadra" one of the models I am reviewing. Then comes the "super Reflex" a little cheaper at a max of £68 and lastly the cheaper end of the phillips range is the "micro action" which sell for a max of £49. Almost as close as a blade...

Advantages: Quality feel,ergonomic design,very good results if used with care, full status information,washable under a tap (No more brushing dirty heads),
Disadvantages: It can miss longer hairs first time round, occasionally have to use the trimmer to obtain a full shave.

Go fetch......where! which way?

Advantages: Makes dog think twice about which way to run
Disadvantages: Not as easy for dog to play with on its own

...will add a bit more to this review as it was cut a bit short due to the fact I was in work and something came up.. Any way when you throw the Quadra and it hits the ground (better on a hard surface) it goes all over the place. Chester is used to a run and a little jump but not this time! He runs, goes to catch it, turns one way, then other, then another! He kind of does a little hop, skip and jump - its sooo funny. The only problem is that when he does catch it (eventually), he doesnt want to bring it back because he knows its much harder to get again! Another good thing with the Quadra is that you can throw it much further than an ordinary ball or toy because of the legs on it you can get a good grip. This is especially good at the big beach where we live although not so good when he cant find it or cant get a good grip on it...

Well for starters there are three oscillating heads that spin round at a tremendous speed and clip your stubble. These heads are placed on a platform that actually dips when pressure is placed on any part of the heads to match the contours of your face. The next stage is the Quadra action. Each head has four actions to clip the hairs of your stubble as close as possible. Not sure what the four actions are (probably just a marketing ploy anyway!) Philishave shavers do not use blades within their foil heads unlike other well know manufacturers.
