Summer Heights High - A Triple Threat!

Advantages: Hilarious laugh out loud comedy - when you understand it
Disadvantages: This will probably be the only series

Review of Summer Heights High (DVD)

High Crimes, No Enjoyment

Advantages: Tries to make Courtroom Drama appeal to a wider audience
Disadvantages: It fails due to bad direction and a weak script

...I’ve always found books and films based on courtroom Drama’s to be quite interesting. I’m a huge fan of Grisham’s novels and absolutely love films like “Rules Of Engagement”. So when I heard about “High Crimes” I decided this would be a good choice for Saturday evening viewing. I was also swung by the fact Morgan Freeman was one of the leads. This led me to believe it could be an alright film as he doesn’t normally do bad films. As far as the plot goes it’s not too complicated to follow. Claire Kubik (Ashley Judd) is a big time Lawyer working for a top law firm and is about to make partner. Grace really gets her own High Society

Advantages: A good happy musical, a family film, funny.
Disadvantages: maybe slightlty dated, but still fun

I am a bit naughty I buy these movies with the intentions of sitting down to watch them, but life takes over and the moment has gone, they end up being filed to watch one day. So my film for this month is High Society, which is a comedy musical that opened at the Pantages Theatre, Hollywood on 1st August 1956. This brand of oil reviewed here is known as Castrol High Mileage motor oil, it is non synthetic oil, or more commonly known as a traditional mineral based oil. There are no synthetic additives added. The viscosity of this oil is 15W-50 15 means the thickness of the oil in low temperatures, W means it complies with the requirements for winter conditions, and 50 means the thickness of the oil at high temperatures. Review of Castrol GTX High Mileage

Highly Derivative Crimes

Advantages: Follows the courtroom thriller handbook to the letter - genre fans will be relatively satisfied
Disadvantages: Rather obvious, nothing new, no surprises, little bit boring, has wait-for-video stamped all over it

..."Military justice is to justice what military music is to music Mrs Kubik. Wake up, smell the napalm." I can't say I'm a huge fan of the highly derivative courtroom thriller genre so it takes something a little special to pique any kind of interest from me. In recent years none of them have. High Crimes didn't either but it is the perfect movie for a genre fan because it touches all the correct bases leaving no generic plot device untouched and is simply, a model courtroom thriller. For the non-fan or critical observer, it's hackneyed, obvious and incredibly derivative to the point where you can sit with a mental checklist marking off all-the-right-elements as it progresses and probably not to be recommended for anything but a video viewing if there really is nothing else to watch. Oh be sure, it's not too much of a painful experience...

...Not being a high school musical fan i reluctantly played this game at a family members and i was right to be scepitical as this not a good game purely because of the High School Musical theme. The concept of the game is fantastic, If only it had various song's from the years and was not based on the film i think i would have enjoyed this a lot more. This game allows you to interact with the movie's characters for the first time on a gaming console. It reloves around the hit movie, you can mix together your favorite characters, songs and scenes. You can sing on your own or as a duet. The game starts with songs High School Musical, but as you improve through the game you unlock songs from High School Musical 2. High praise for this high chair

Advantages: Easy to use
Disadvantages: Quite bulky to take in car

...We bought this high chair as it is very good quality and extremely sturdy. A lot of the parenting magazines have given it very positive reviews and it has won several rewards. The seat has four different positions, perfect as your child develops and also useful should your child get tired or sleepy whilst you are in the middle of a meal. We have also found that it is really useful being able to tip the chair back when youre giving your child medicine- it means its more likely to go down their throat than all over you! It has a lovely padded cover (with a choice of designs)and a moulded seat, adding great comfort. The seat also wipes clean very well. The padded section is also removeable, allowing you to clean underneath where stray food always gathers on any high chair. Th adjustable straps keep your child secure and stop them...

...High Beam is one of the greatest products that i have in my make up bag and i do not know what i would do without it. High Beam is a pink highlighter and it is used for all skin tones and you can blend it all over your complexion on it's own or you could mix it in with you moisturiser with a all over subtle glow to your face. High Beam is easy to use, if you put it on the top of your cheekbone with the brush applicator that comes with your high beam and then with your fingertips it hightlights the cheek and gives it a suble glow. It is the finishing touch to my make up and i would never go for a night out without it. It retails at around £15.50 and it is well worth it, mine lasts me around a year so when you average it out it is a bargain. Definately one to recommend i think this is ideal for anyones make up bag....
