High Impact, High Value

Advantages: The eyeshadow stays the day and a great value for money
Disadvantages: It isn't waterproof but are any eyeshadows?

...I received this product as a Christmas present for the Christmas just gone (December 2001). It is THE BEST eye shadow I have ever used (second is Clinique's stay the day eye shadow). I used Clinique's High Impact eye shadow in colour 03 South Beach. Since December 2001 I have used this product frequently (once a week or so) and I have not even used the top surface layer. Appearance and Packaging of the product -------------------------------------- The eye shadow comes in a cuboid box, which is approximately 6cm long by 2.5cm wide. The box is peach with patterns of flowers on (daffodils on the back and white roses on the front). On top of the flowers there is a big silver C that strikes you immediately and then half the size of this there is in silver the word 'Clinique'. Deadly impact

...During the late nineties, there were a couple of American big budget films made about an asteroid heading towards Earth. Deep Impact was one of these movies. Deep Impact is about a comet that is on a collision course with Earth and will result in mass destruction and extinction of the human race. A news reporter Jenny Lerner (Tea Leoni), stumbles upon this story by accident, whilst investigating a high level government officials, suspicious resignation. The US Preseident, Tom Beck (Morgan Freeman), initiates a plan to launch a spaceship into orbit to attempt to destroy the comet into smaller safer pieces. As a back-up plan, he also randomly selects 1 million people who will relocate to specially designed caves in order to save the population from extinction. THIS ALBUM HAD A LOT OF IMPACT!

Advantages: Tight musicianship, riff-fest, aggressive-ness is displayed well, lyrics fit in with the music
Disadvantages: Variation is needed in the album

...Dew-Scented- Impact ( I won't review all the songs; there are a few songs I am not too sure about) I bought this album more than a few years ago now; when I picked up any album I could find and hoped I liked it! I was just pretty lucky when I stumbled across this album as it helped to solidify my continuing interest in thrash and death metal. Without this album I wouldn't even contemplate facing the death metal genre. It is a stepping stone from thrash metal to death metal. What surprises me is that this band brings nothing new to the genre but it still has a special place in my heart. Review of Impact - Dew-Scented

More a playful tap than an "Impact!"

Advantages: Looks good, great fun to play, organic feeling moves
Disadvantages: Glicthtastic, lack of depth, silly learning curve

...As a huge fan of disaster films, the movie, Deep Impact is one of the best of its kind as evidenced by its unique delivery. With the help of our present day technology, the movie stirs a lot of emotions that is deeply moving and believable. Like always, Steven Spielberg did an excellent job in this arena of real life images and special effects. In appreciation of the story itself, the movie has dual elements to describe a asteroid hitting earth. It has the physical reality and the emotional side. Quite simply, the best mascara ever........

Advantages: Great long curly lashes.
Disadvantages: Absolutely none!

...I recently bought the new Clinique High Impact Curling mascara and am amazed at how good it is. I have used Clinique mascara's for many years but found some of them 'rub' a bit - you know that look when you see yourself in the mirror and wonder why you have a dark line under your eye? I think this one however is just fantastic, no rubbing & reasonably waterproof - you can have a sniffle at a good film and still look fab at the end of it!! The wand is curved shaped at the end, and although I was told in my local store that I wouldn't need eyelash curlers I still use mine, and the effect is great. Amazing long, curly lashes that last until you wash it off. To wash it off I simply use a normal cleanser with warm water and it comes off a treat. Review of Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

Hello beautiful lashes!

Advantages: Relly does create high impact lashes!
Disadvantages: Not waterproof but it doesn't claim to be.

...I have spent so many years and so much money looking for the perfect mascara and I may not have found the perfect one with Clinique High impact mascara but its pretty darn close! Its not the easiest to apply it takes a person who is a little adept with a mascara brush to get a perfect look but when applied right, wow! It thickens, lengthens and really does send your lashes reaching for your eyebrows. The trick i found is to apply one coat let it dry then apply another, if you want the false lash look then keep going. If you overload your lashes in one go i found they stick together, which is not fun. Also if your planning on crying - don't! I once ended up with a mono-lash which is quite amusing but not attractive. On the bright side when your dry-eyed it doesn't crumble or flake it stays put all day (and the next day too - I...

Perfect Eyelashes every Time

...I spend a fortune on Clinique, i wish i could go to Boots and find something a little bit cheaper but no i must have expensive tastes. I have tried all sorts of Mascara, but never found one that i really liked, i just out uo with them. Getting majority of my cosmetics from Clinique, i try to wait until Bonus time, when if you buy 2 products you get a little gift set free, i makes it all worthwhile then, you normally get samples of various different products and one one occasion, i got the HIgh Impact Mascara. I don't usually use the sample to be honest but i had ran out of macara so thought i would try it. I was amazed, it was fantastic. ...I received a sample of this mascara through "Clinique Bonus Time" which is one of the best things about Clinique. Every so often Clinique counters have a special offer on where if you buy two products you receive a box full of free samples to try. One of the products that time was a High Impact Mascara. As all Clinique products the packaging is nice and simple. By having the whole tube including top a dark colour this shows us that this is a dramatic mascara. When I apply mascara I always wipe off the excess on a tissue beforehand so I did this. The brush on the wand is a good size. It is not so big that you end up putting mascara where you do not want to nor is it too small that it takes about five minutes to take it from root to tip.
