Review of High School Musical - Sing It! (Wii) by
jo_field26
Advantages: great concept
Disadvantages: unfortunately high school musical
...Not being a high school musical fan i reluctantly played this game at a family members and i was right to be scepitical as this not a good game purely because of the High School Musical theme.
The concept of the game is fantastic, If only it had various song's from the years and was not based on the film i think i would have enjoyed this a lot more.
This game allows you to interact with the movie's characters for the first time on a gaming console. It reloves around the hit movie, you can mix together your favorite characters, songs and scenes. You can sing on your own or as a duet.
The game starts with songs High School Musical, but as you improve through the game you unlock songs from High School Musical 2.
This game features three play modes, Story, Party and Quickplay.
You can also use the Wii remote and the Nunchuk to move...

A perfect gift for Disney fans
Review of High School Musical II - Various Artists by
lostsins05
Advantages: For anyone who loves Disney and High School Musical
Disadvantages: Not for people who hate cheesy pop
...The High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those who are a fan of Disney Films and especially fans of the High School Musical songs. The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you. However if you are into your pop music than i would suggest giving this CD a try or at least watch the movie as all the song a fully featured apart from Humuhumunukunukuapua'a (if you can learn how to say it without becoming touch tied its a bonus) which only appears on the CD as a Bonus Track. If you also buy the DVD it isn't in the main film but appears on the special features.
Overall High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those singalong days....

High School Musical
Review of High School Musical - Remix Edition DVD by
Raychella
Advantages: Good movie! Some great dances, and songs
Disadvantages: Bonus Features could be better!
...I have heard of High School Musical for a while now, probably so has everyone else!!! When I first heard it being plugged for the premiere of it on the Disney Channel, I thought it would be a film for older children/young teenagers, which admittedly is the probable target market! But it is liked by a variety of age categories.
My friend kept on about it for a while so I decided to get this dvd to watch it, now its one of my favourites at the moment! My preception of what the film was about before watching this was that the singing and dancing was at the end, with like a school play, but there are songs through out.
The story begins with Troy Bolton (played by Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez (played by Vanessa Anne Hudgens) both on vacation. They go to a New Years Party at the lodge they are staying at, where there is karaoke. Troy...

High School Musical - The Remix Edition
Review of High School Musical - Remix Edition DVD by
lilyellowfish
Advantages: Sing & Dance Alongs, Remixes of songs
Disadvantages: None
...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why I brought the DVD
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I purchased High School Musical The Remix Edition as I loved High School Musical and was searching for the DVD everywhere but couldn't find it, the only DVD's available were the Remix Edition and the concert, so I picked up the remix edition and looked on the back to find out there are two versions on the DVD - the original and also a sing along version including many bonus features so I thought this sounded great - and I have not been dissappointed.
~~~~~~~~~~
About the DVD
~~~~~~~~~~
I loved it even better with the singalong version. I was worried that the whole film would be subtitled but only the words come up on screen when a song is being sang - this is great as everyone loves to sing along but no one quite knows the words!
If you love High School Musical or are thinking...
one of the most underrated films ever
Review of Romy And Michele's High School Reunion DVD by
java
Advantages: very funny
Disadvantages: no sequal
...Mooney. Her high school crush on geek Sandy Frink is excellent to watch and will even have you feeling sorry for her in parts.
The soundtrack to the film is fantastic with a good solid mix of 80's and 90's pop music to reflect Romy and Michelle's high school days and their modern day clubbing scenes. 80's music is supplied by Belinda Carlisle, Bananarama, go-go's and Cyndi Lauper amongst others. 90's music comes in the shape of La Bouche, N-Trance, Alex Party and No Doubt to name a few. The soundtrack actually helps to make the film even more enjoyable.
A good storyline, strong performances, a brilliant cast and razor sharp humour makes this film one of my all time favourites (see my e-mail address!) This film is going to be appriciated more by people who either grew up in the 80's or 90's to appriciate the feel good mood the film puts you...
