...The Hills is my guilty little pleasure. There's backstabbing, friendships, boyfriends, clubbing, making up, breaking up, in fact this programme has everything! The Hills is actually a spin-off television series from the very popular show, Laguna Beach. This show followed a bunch of high school students through their life in Laguna Beach, California, a very affluent, beautiful area right on the coast of Southern California. One of the main characters was Lauren Conrad, often referred to as LC. She, in my opinion is quite a pretty, nice mannered girl, if somewhat spoilt. She has the clothes, looks, long blond hair and drives a very nice convertible car. I do like her and I think she is quite entertaining. She often seems to have a rough ride where some of her friends are concerned but that is life, and more importantly that is life...

...Despite it?s huge success , the film Notting Hill had never appealed to me . I don?t know if was because of the fact that I was only about ten or eleven when the film came out , and so because of the ?cover? of the DVD , as a child , I instantly thought ?that looks boring? , and so I had always had that opinion of the film , despite the saying ? March on up to the top of the hill....

Advantages: Amazing views of Prague once you reach the top!
Disadvantages: The staircase made me feel dizzy.

It rises 130m above the left bank of the Vltava River and it's covered in parks, making a great site for a lovely walk, and it's a favoured recreational area for the people of Prague. You can see the hill from Charles Bridge and on the top of Petrin Hill in Prague you may notice an Effiel Tower like tower at the very top. This is the Petrin Hill Observation Tower. It's a 60 metre tower which is much smaller than the Eiffel Tower, however as it's on the top of Petrin Hill it does have almost the same altitude as it's French lookalike. It was built in 1891 and was used as not only an observation tower, but also as a transmission tower. Today though this tower is a good tourist attraction as it offers spectacular views of Prague...

Beverly Hill Ninja

Advantages: Great humour and comical fights

The Hills Have A Remake

Advantages: dark and creep
Disadvantages: too dull to be very scary

...CONTAINS SPOILERS! I've not seen the original so I won't be comparing this to that. Apart from the minor scare and the guy killing the 2 scientists at the start this is really boring for a very VERY long time. The travellers dog gets killed (we see nothing apart from it's body) and then not much happens. We're almost 40 mins into the film where their truck is sabotaged by the hill people (they use a stinger on it) and then lots of not much happens. The dad of the family walks back to the truck stop and the son-in-law finds a vehicle graveyard in a crater (and really should have sussed what was happening by then, it's totally obvious). The truck stop owner kills himself and the dad of the family is caught by the hill people and things actually finally start to happen. The son-in-law returns to the camper and the families second dog...

Hits from the Hill

Advantages: The beats are brilliant, the vocals absolutely excellent.
Disadvantages: The music lacks lyrical depth.

...'Black Sunday' is the super second album from the American hip-hop group that is Cypress Hill. The album was released in 1993 and consists of a grand total of fourteen tracks; it's a great little album from Cypress Hill and one which comes complete with a high number of top tracks. I'm not exactly a massive fan of hip-hop, I do however have a great appreciation for the genre at times and when I'm in the mood for the music there are a couple of albums that I almost always reach for; 'Black Sunday' is one of those albums. Beginning with 'I Wanna Get High' the music immediately makes its impact, the beat is absolutely infectious and the vocals always are excellent to listen to here. ...As you can probably tell by not I love my chick flicks and this is another one that I enjoyed. With Hugh Grant and Julia Robert and Rhys Ifans who is one of the funniest people that I have seen in a film for a long time. William Thacker who is played by Hugh Grant owns a book shop in Notting Hill, where this film is set. One day the famous actress Anna Scott played by Julia Roberts visits the bookshop. William thinking that he will never see her again he walks out of the shop and a minute later collides with her and spills orange juice all over her.
