...We booked the room online at www.Hilton.co.uk, Hilton guarantee that their best rates are available online. We booked a few months in advance and got a really good rate. Rates do change, at the moment double roms are £110 per night with guest room plus rooms £134. Because I boked well in advance i got a double plus room (gets a sea view, fluffy bath robes etc) for under £100. The Wbsite has info about the hotel including pictures of rooms etc The hotel is relatively modern with lots of car parking. When we checked in Reception was busy but was very efficient. All the public areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean On balance a hotel that I'm likely to stay at again. I stayed on a Sunday, arriving in time for Sunday lunch. The Restaurant, the Promenade, has a Carvery which was extremely good with starters of either soup or a help...

Advantages: Excellent location
Disadvantages: Weird car-park

...I went to the Hilton for 3 nights from 27th-30th December 08 during the Christmas period. I went with a friend and her family who had gone to the Hilton the previous Christmas. The rooms were £99 per night for 2 people which I thought was very reasonable. (Although I'm aware depending on season this cost can vary) This included bed, breakfast and a 3 course evening meal (the evening meal only on one night) My friend took charge of booking us into the room so I never discovered how easy it was to book yet I never heard any complaints about the process. Arrival and Check-in When we arrived at the hotel we were directed to an underground car-park. I wasn't too keen on the car park which comprised rows of 3 cars tightly parked together actually parking each other in! Our car was at the front yet I'm not sure how the third car back...

Hilton Coventry Hotel

Advantages: Close to main road network & NEC. Very helpful staff
Disadvantages: Not a great deal within walking distance

...An eventful recent (March 2008) visit in order to compile this review, but more about that aspect later. This hotel is part of the international Hilton chain, and was chosen by my wife and I for a winter/spring weekend break for us along with our 16 month-old little boy. We have stayed at numerous Hilton group hotels previously in the UK and in other parts of the world and have usually been pleased with their standards. This was a 'last minute' booking, so we had to take what was available, and on initially being offered 'Coventry' we weren't too keen - we had visions of not talking to one another whilst we were there !! Hilton Hotel, Gatwick

Advantages: Right on the Airport doorstep and connected via walkways.
Disadvantages: NOT cheap!

...walk back into the airport to eat and drink if you are staying the day before a trip. Otherwise its the hotel restaurant where they like you to book but you'll get straight in as I never saw it busy! There is a lounge area, with a few dozen tables in the centre area with waitress service. It can be a little slow especially if its busy. Consider signing up for the Hilton Honors card before you go. Its free but will enable you to get to check in or out quicker than other people. BOTTOM LINE: Good Point: You can walk to the airport in about 5 mins so NO fiddleing about with getting curtsey buses! Bad Point: It'll cost a bit more than other hotels but the convenience of the location could well make up for it....

Advantages: Great Central Location with efficient staff
Disadvantages: Small gym and Spa

...This is a smart and clean hotel in the central part of Vienna. The capital is within walking distance but the hotel is also close to the tram stops making travel even easier. Consider booking via their website or an independent agent, for best prices. Apply for the 'free' Hilton Honours card (rewards available and priority checkin & checkout). The staff are helpful and nothing is too much. Breakfast is very good with a varied choice of foods. The hotel bars are small but never seemed to get fully packed out. Ask for some nuts and a bowl for free will be supplied. The rooms are comfortable and of a good size. Its very clean throughout. The gym is tiny but there is a spa and its suitable to take a glass & drinks into. I've given it a 5star excellent rating as it was fault free. The service is superb, the hotel clean and tidy...

Dublin Hilton deserves a toast in Guinness

Handy Hilton Hotel for High Flyers

...I stayed in the Gatwick Hilton for 2 nights; 23rd March and 1st April. As a general overview I wasn't too impressed with the acclaimed Hilton hotel. There was a large group of us (about 30) and we all entered the hotel via the North terminal entrance. This was good as you could walk through a sheltered walkway to the main reception. The reception area itself had about 6 different stations that could have been used for check-in but only 2 of them were in operation (this was at about 6.30 so quite a few people would have been checking in at this time). It took quite a long time to check every one in and our cards were given out. The hotel had only given us 1 key card per room even though 2/3 people were in a room ? as you can imagine this caused problems of people trying to get into their rooms but their room mate not being there. A very nice hotel - Hilton's London Metropole

Advantages: A really nice good quality hotel
Disadvantages: Room could be updated a little

...My boyfriend booked two nights in this hotel for me as a Christmas present. On arrival by tube it was very easy to find. The hotel is serviced by Edgware Road station on the Bakerloo, Distirct and Circle lines and so has excellent connections. It's impossible to miss the hotel on exiting the staion. Although we didn't use the buses there was a constant stream of them up and down Edgware Road. First impressions on walking into the hotel were brilliant. The reception and bar area were one massive space, all marble and luxury. The check-in service was excellent, and in spite of there being a queue we were sorted quickly and directed to the lifts to find our room. This hotel is huge, but the rooms and lifts well signed and easy to find. The room was lovely, with a massive comfortable bed and nice bathroom, usual hospitality tray etc...
