As with many of my hotel reviews in England this hotel was booked through a deal on the internet. We paid £64.50 per person so £129 per couple for the room for two nights and two full buffet breakfast and on the first evening we also had a three course buffet meal with a bottle of house wine per couple included.

Somewhere North of the Tower..
Advantages: good on a sunny day, traditional, well maintained, carousel is gorgeous, places to eat
Disadvantages: nervewracking walk when its wet and windy! not as much to do compared to other piers
...Those who have heard of Blackpool are likely to be aware of the three piers on the seafront. During our most recent trip to Blackpool, we visited all three piers and whilst North Pier wasn't the top of our list, we were looking for a way to kill some time on an early Sunday afternoon and were in the area. Too Many Hiccups at the Hilton?
Advantages: In a good location, many friendly members of staff, spacious rooms
Disadvantages: Questionable hygiene and maintenance issues
