Hitachi, well done fab camera.
Advantages: Good quality, cool features, allows DVD RAM disks.
Disadvantages: Sleep, is not very effective,It's bulky, & No Touch.
...The Hitachi DZ-GX5060E DVD Camcorder, this is a great quality camcorder that captures the footage on to 8mm (Mini) DVD disks. I decided to get this camera in Curry's, because:
I didn't Want Mini DV tapes (I think their getting a little old now)
I needed a good camera to take on holiday, and to make youtube videos outside.
I'm going to set this review up in a few sections, Design, On screen Options, My Opinion, and Accessories.
So, here it goes.
DESIGN
The design of this camera is quite sleek, although not that light or compact. It fits into my hand nicely, but could be a tad lighter. The colour of the camera is silver and Grey. On one side their is the 8mm Disk drive, which allows you to put in DVD R, RW and RAM Disks. So far I have been using TDK DVD+RW Disks.
On the other side you have the screen, with pulls out, and can be...

Getting Your Kid Into Digital Cameras
Advantages: Features Like Any Regular Digital Camera
Disadvantages: 16 MB Internal Memory and No Zoom Capabilities
...No digital camera review on CIAO would be complete without a few entries about cameras designed for kids. After all, kids are almost universally enthusiastic about taking pictures. And parents with a love of photography often pass down their passion to their children. But digital cameras are not always kid-friendly, due to fragile construction, price, or complicated menus and buttons. The newest trend in children's electronics is a group of digital cameras made especially for small children. These cameras are easy to hold, come in bright colors that kids love, and have many of the same features as grown-up digital cameras. Kids love them.
The VTech KidiZoom Digital Camera is one of the top digital cameras for kids. This camera was made with fun in mind. Kids like the KidiZoom's large LCD screen and the onboard photo editing options...

HItachi Customer Services
Advantages: Definately none
Disadvantages: No reimbursement
...We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389.
Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds.
Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously.
The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks.
Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi.
We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!!
So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept...

This Hitachi punches above its weight
Advantages: Smaller, lighter television, with the same picture size.
Disadvantages: You're not still watching TV are you!?
...In order to reduce the speed that my living room was sinking, beneath the mud that is my front garden, under the weight of my old 32" Mitsubishi CRT widescreen television. I decided it might be an idea to replace it with something a little lighter. To this end I chose the Hitachi L32H01, an HD-ready 720p/1080i 32" widescreen LCD panel. This model features both Freeview digital and analogue tuners that allowed me to use my old set top box with my SCART-enabled portable television in order to extend its life beyond the digital switchover. The built-in Freeview tuner is equipped with full red-button functionality for those interactive hidden programmes on various channels, as well as both now and next digital schedule that can be reviewed while still watching the current channel in the top right quarter of the screen and a 5-day...

hitachi HDC 756E
Advantages: good all round and easy to use
Disadvantages: would have liked automatically view picture after it is taken instead of switching to view
...I have been using this camera for a few months now and have found it very reliable and easy to use and carry around. It has good quality clear pictures.
I would have liked to view pictures straight after taking them onscreen instead of having to switch to viewing, although it is good to replay all at once. The camera came with a carry case which fits easily into pockets or small bags and is very handy.
The camera connects automatically and easily to windows xp with the usb which was supplied with the camera. You can use the zoom easily to get clear far away pictures.
Overall i would recommend this camera to my family and friends as it has been ideal for my family needs....

Scoring a Hit-achi With The Scullery Maid
Advantages: Very neat - seemingly a lot of kit for the money
Disadvantages: Noisy FM in weak reception areas. Choosy CD player
...to throw in a remote control and make it come in at under £50, I?d only be too happy to take one off their hands.
So, after all the nasty things I?ve said about DSG (Dixons, Currys and PC World) in the past, this is where I end up, buying a Hitachi AX-M77 CD Micro System for £49.99. I have to say, that for something costing 50 knicker, I was only expecting to come home with something, shall we say, a bit more ?own brand?, a bit more ?Matsui? let?s say.
The purchase bit was easy ? they were piled five-high at the end of a display cabinet, and not even the Currys assistant in Hounslow would have dared say ??.and would you like an extended warr?..? at these prices, or at least, maybe the sales pep talk they?d just been given (I got there as they opened their doors) had been just too much to take on board all in one go. Maybe it was...

A truly remarkable camera.
Advantages: Hd video recording, great photos, looks good
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE!
...This camera is one hell of a camera and I was not disappointed buying this. I have been making some extra cash doing photography for parties and similar types of things just lately and this has been my new best friend. It is reliable and takes very high quality pictures as well as having the ability to record HD, yes! HD!, video at resolution 1080p (which is a lot better than most cameras).
First I'd like to comment on the design, looking both professional as well as striking; this really gives off the impression that you are a professional photographer and it is a pleasure and a pride to take photos with it.
It takes pretty impressive photos too; I have always had excellent results with this camera. It has 21.1 megapixels, meaning that the photos are crystal clear and allowing you to digitally crop and enlarge photos beyond...

Hitachi CX68 MP3/CD + Radio - Tough Little Beast
Advantages: Good tone quality, looks, reliability and functions
Disadvantages: no cassette player facility
...I wanted a portable CD player for my home-office desk, because I found that playing CDs on my computer whilst I was working seemed to use up memory and sometimes caused my computer to crash. I wanted one with a decent tone, but one that would not take up too much room on my desk. My birthday was coming up (last year), so that answered my wife's question of what to get me for a present. Off we went to Comets.
When we arrived there were many CD players that would have suited me for around the £20 mark, but my wife pointed to the Hitachi CX68 saying how good looking it was with it's round, blue-lit window on the front that indicated radio stations or CD information, depending on what was being played.
I noticed that it also played MP3s, and that I thought, would be great if I wanted to download music from the internet. I've never...

vanguard Camera case
Advantages: cheap price, safe and durable, waterproof, and camera protective
Disadvantages: Made in china, available in black only.
...background to Vanguard
until I started to write this review I had no idea who they were. I searched online and read a few reviews about the company. The company specialise in manufacturing Camera bags, Binoculars, Tripods and Cases for guns to name a few products. The companies customers include major Camera manufacturers.
vanguard Camera Case
for a Camera case it is a low priced entry level Camera Case used to hold, store and allow the user to move around with a Camera inside the Pouch. The Camera Case is black coloured throughout. The Case has the Vanguard's logo encased on the closing part of the Pouch. Also the material is polyester and I suppose that it is good that it is not made from leather as the leather in the summer weather reacts to the heat. This Camera Case also adheres to the international quality...

The Abbie Proof Camera!
Advantages: Keeps kids amused for ages, great range of features, very tough and durable
Disadvantages: Batteries run out quick, picture quality not great
...I'd seen the adverts on TV for these cameras quite a while before Christmas, they first became available in 2006, but I hadn't really noticed until the run up to Christmas that they were around. When I first saw it, I must admit I couldn't believe they had made a digital camera for kids! Wow, whatever next. They'll be making real working mobile phones for three year olds next!
Turns out this isn't the first time Fisher Price have launched a camera for children in 1984 which sold close to 5 million, a very popular idea apparently.
So, I thought I'd buy for my little girl, she loves anything that makes her feel like a grown up, she also loves to figure out how to work things which makes this toy ideal for her. I live in the middle of nowhere so it was internet Christmas shopping for me this year - I love E-Bay so thought I'd have...
