...We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389. Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds. Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously. The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks. Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi. We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!! So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept...

This Hitachi punches above its weight

Advantages: Smaller, lighter television, with the same picture size.
Disadvantages: You're not still watching TV are you!?

THIS IS A FANTASTIC GROOMING TOOL FOR EVERY DOG OWNER

Advantages: The best grooming tool I have ever used
Disadvantages: Can be pricey

...I own both a Siberian Husky and a small, hairy being of not fixed breeding! , in Spain where the weather gets very hot and your dogs would much rather "shed in the shade" - or, all over the carpet. Anybody who has a husky will know they have double coats, a darker upper coat with a downy underlayer which for two years until I found this grooming tool was a nightmare, I used every brush and comb available, plus some horse tools which I thought worth a try, but to no avail ! My husky looked constantly as if the moths had been at him, except in November when there was a short pause. Cleaning the house was a nightmare and I never seemed to get rid of all the fluff from his undercoat. Then I discovered the Furminator ! It was fantastic, the terrace looked as if it had been coated in snow as all the undercoat came out so easily...

GERBER 800 MULTI TOOL - DON'T BUY ANYTHING ELSE

Advantages: Strong, reliable, spring-loaded pliers, rust proof
Disadvantages: Scissors have small cut size

...Being a military man, I have had both a LEATHERMAN© and a GERBER© in the last 10 years, so am in a position to speak with authority on both. The Leatherman is a good tool. However, the Gerber 800 puts it in the shade. Gerber make several models of multitool, but I chose the 800 because it is the most robust and useful in terms of tools provided. It's official colour is 'champagne', I prefer to think of it more as 'light bronze'!!!! The 800 has 18 features, each of which has been thought out to be of ACTUAL use rather than fantasy use. Hitachi CX68 MP3/CD + Radio - Tough Little Beast

Hitachi, well done fab camera.

Advantages: Good quality, cool features, allows DVD RAM disks.
