HENSVIK changing table/cabinet - Great idea!

Advantages: Double use as a cabinet and baby changing table, inexpensive, easy to assemble
Disadvantages: Flaking paint on the changing table after a while

...I bought the Hensvik changing table/cabinet designed by Carina Bengs a couple of years ago from IKEA for £85. I was expecting my second baby and loved the idea of the double use in this piece of furniture. First, it can be used as a changing table for your baby and when one is no longer required, the changing shelf can be removed and a second book shelf can be easily fitted into a slot above and there you go: you have a lovely looking book cabinet. The assembly was fairly simple. The instructions came in true IKEA style with pictures but the assembly was easily manageable with those. The Allen key and all screws were included, so you can unwrap, assemble and use. Advantages: One of those "greatest film ever" regulars, and with good reason.
Disadvantages: None.

...We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389. Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds. Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously. The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks. Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi. We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!! So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept...

Scoring a Hit-achi With The Scullery Maid

Advantages: Very neat - seemingly a lot of kit for the money

Hitachi CX68 MP3/CD + Radio - Tough Little Beast

Advantages: Good tone quality, looks, reliability and functions
Disadvantages: no cassette player facility

Advantages: Reliable, Quick, Quite, Good value for money

...If you are looking for an 80 GB hard disk for your PC, you have found the one to buy! I have been using 2 of these Hitachi Deskstar's in my PC for a long time now. I have had no problems with them. For the price you pay to buy one, you are getting cheap and reliable hard disk, witch has a good capacity to price ratio (around 2GB per pound). I would recommend this hard disk to anyone whom it is making up a new computer, or just needs more storage space.
