... iPod Classic 160 GB iPods , the most amazing gadgets of all time. Who would have ever beleived that such a small mod con could hold so much memory and so much to explore. The family of iPod'swhich include the smaller yet impressive iPod Shuffle which runs on flash memory , the even more interesting iPod Nano which includes a video screen which holds 8 GB memory models , and it this just gets better because the next iPod in the family is the absolutely amazing iPod Classic which can even hols up to an impressive 160 GB of memory which is just unbelievable for an almost palm sized mp3 player, you just have to agree these are just so amazing. I bought my iPod from my cousin for a very good price of £150.00 , considering they are around £250 if you purchase them in a shop or online... The penultimate iPod in the family...

...We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389. Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds. Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously. The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks. Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi. We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!! So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept...

Hitachi HDR161 - Very handy!

Advantages: Lots of room for recordings, tapes 2 shows at the same time, can pause live TV
Disadvantages: Your restricted to what you can receive through your aerial, no digital PDC alternative

...channels and watch another but its fairly uncommon to need to do that... some cheaper PVRs (or whatever you want to call them, Hard Disk Recorders) only let you record one channel at a time. You can also record a show while watching a recording, so its pretty flexible. One other feature it comes with, that makes it more like something like Sky+ is the timeshift function, which basically lets you pause and rewind live TV. If you press the pause button on your remote, then it will start to record the show your watching live and when you get back from answering the phone or going to the bathroom, you can pick it up where you left it, which is handy, though I often forget I can do this and haven't used it all that often. The story is quite far fetched, that somebody can receive a pint of somebody's blood and know all about their memories, but the author has done it in such a way that you don't feel that it is far fetched, or fantasy in any way. What I loved about the story were some of the characters. Joyce's dad is a complete character, and I wouldn't mind seeing this story in film just to see this character alone. He gives the impression that he is old and daft, but he is more together than you think. ...tell you how it's gonna be, We're gonna have Lamb Chops for tea. It's strange what stays with you over the years isn't it? The next dozen or so tracks moved on a little in time but still remained in the 1960's. Many of these tracks such as Satisfaction, The Last Time and Paint it Black I had bought out of my pocket money as 45 singles. You know the old, small vinyl records. In fact I still have most of these but they are well worn, a little jumpy and mostly mono so the quality is a little raw. It was good to here these tracks in pristine fashion although the more earthy sound seems more authentic. The final tracks move on to the late sixties and into the 1970's. Unless my aged memory is playing tricks on me I think that is as far as we move in time with this CD. This suits me as I feel that The Rolling Stones were at their peak...

Be Amazed at A Maze of Memories

...As some of you will know I am a keen Scrapbooker and spend much of my free time on this craft ( when I am not on Dooyoo or Ciao!). There are lots of online craft suppliers but there are relatively few craft shops that you are able to actually visit. I am very lucky to have an absolute gem almost on my doorstep so I thought I would tell everyone about it and there maybe some crafters amongst you that would be able to pay it a visit--you would not regret it (although your bank balance might!) Location A Maze of Memories is set just outside Long Crendon on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border.It is easily accesible from Bicester and Aylesbury. It is in a unit on Woodway farm. This means that the parking is easy and free and you can watch sheep in the fields out of the window whilst waiting for creative inspiration...
