...We purchased a Hitachi 28" Pure Flat Screen TV in the January 2003 sales. A bargain reduced from £600 to £389. Unfortunately by February 2004 we had a problem with it. A grey screen with wavey diagonal lines and it kept turning itself off after about 5 seconds. Anyway - stupid like we didnt take the extended guarantee - which i would advise everyone to do - if you can afford it obviously. The TV was taken away by a local engineer and basically needed some extensive welding and it cost us £170 and we were left without the TV for 3 weeks. Well we werent happy as you can imagine so we tried to contact Hitachi. We telephoned our local Miller Brothers store who supplied it and they only had a fax number for Hitachi - nothing else !!! So I searched the web and found a few addresses and forward the original reciept...

Disadvantages: quite pricey but it is snap on after all

...the snap on ratcheting screwdriver is a high quality tool, that can meet all your needs. no need to have lots of different screwdrivers as you can change the driver bits to what you need. it has a nice comfortable soft grip handle which comes in three main colours red, green and orange. the top of the handle twists off to reveal a compartment very handy for keeping various screwdriver bits. the shaft is interchangeable so you can get different length shafts. it is very durable and easy to use it has a twist style switch at the bottom of the handle to change the ratcheting direction or you can lock it off in the middle and use it like a normal screwdriver. and of course it is covered under snap-on's lifetime guarantee, so if it breaks you can get it replaced free of charge. They were popular before The Spice Girls, Girls Aloud etc and I think one of the reasons why they were successful was because they could actually sing and had some lovely harmonies, with beautiful voices that all worked well together.
