Hoseasons - my favoruite holiday company in the UK

...Hoseasons is my number one choice when booking holidays in the UK. Ive been booking holidays with them for over 18 years now and have never had any problems or cause for complaint. Customer service is always excellent. All the holiday parks I have stayed in have been excellent with first class accomodation, where attention has been paid to detail and in clean and comfortable surroundings. I have twice been tempted away by cheap offers - once at Pontins and another time at Haven - and wished I hadn't bothered, as both these places were terrible! - But that's another story... I book my holidays with Hoseasons online directly on their website, but I do use Topcashback and access the site via them as they offer cashback on all holidays booked. We prefer to stay in lodges with hot tubs these days, but have also enjoyed family holiday parks...

...HISTORY We booked a holiday with Laskarina Holidays about four years ago, following a recommendation from a friend. Generally, we choose holidays that are quiet, friendly and not too commercialised and that it exactly what we got from Laskarina. THE COMPANY Their sales pitch emphasises the fact that they are an independant travel company who specialise in visiting Greek Islands that, as yet, remain relatively unaffected by tourism. They also like to promote a responsible attitude towards the upkeep of the islands that they visit (more about that later). You book direct with the company rather than go through a travel agent. Laskarina prides itself on the fact that their staff regularly visit all of the properties that are in the brochure and if you're unsure where you want to go, someone will be able to give you an honest opinion...

Finally a package holiday that lets you holiday!

Advantages: Great accomodation, easy to organise, great locations, no rep hassle!
Disadvantages: Mid week departures only and that's it!

Holiday !

Advantages: Nice sweet film, romantic comedy
Disadvantages: Not the best romantic comedy I have seen, some may find it too sickly sweet!

A really good ski holiday company.

Advantages: Good value for money, easy to book and good service.
Disadvantages: If you book late finding good value flights on your own can be difficult.

...Erna Low aren't a company I or any of my friends had ever heard of before - but they have been arranging skiing holidays since 1932! They have a great selection of Ski resorts - mostly in France - and they specialise in self drive holidays (for me that means "arrange your own travel" - we always fly!). The cost of a ferry crossing is included in the price and they deduct £150 if you don't want it. You can also ask them to arrange travel by train or flying and transfers to most resorts - I don't think this is as cheap as going to Easyjet yourself but it probably doesn't cost more than a standard package holiday from a high street company! There is a real advantage to arranging your own ski package because not only is it cheaper and more flexible (you can get 7 full days skiing) but you can hire a car at the airport and do all your...

There were phone numbers for the reps and they came around the hotel so we could easily get hold of them if we needed to, fortunately we didn't. Overall it was a brill holiday and a great company. Holiday Wrecking Company With A Bad Reputation

Disadvantages: No communication, no answer to phone messages or emails.

How would I have felt if I'd believed them when they said they'd confirm and just trustingly waited? Worse still, what if I had booked the entire holiday with them? It may be that you're here, looking at this review out of general interest. You could be checking out Alpha Rooms before you book through them (I certainly hope so!). Company?s cover is always well designed to catch the eye of the customer as it is colourful and clearly displays the titles or a brief description of all its most interesting articles. ...The Holiday is a chick flick type film although it is not quite your normal chick flick. It is based around the story of two girls , Amanda, played by Cameron Diaz and Iris played by Kate Winslet. Amanda is a film trailer producer who has just broke up with her boyfriend, she lives in LA. Iris lives in Surrey in a little cottage and is a writer for a paper.
