...Summary This is a well priced and family friendly hotel, ideally located for easy access to North Wales, and an ideal stop off for any holiday in Wales. I stayed at this hotel for one night in October 2009. The Hotel The hotel is just off the A55 about halfway between Chester and Llandudno. The hotel is only accessible from the A55 westbound, and you have to travel to the next junction to travel back to England, which is slightly inconvenient unless you are travelling on further into Wales. The hotel is spread over three floors. There is a small reception area as you enter the hotel. There is a bar and restaurant to the right of the reception desk. ...This was my first ever experience of a Holiday Inn Express Hotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay. Location: The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. Advantages: Great Price. Good location for roads. Next to park and ride, cheaper than paying for parking!

We have had a rather turbulent year so my brother and I felt it was necessary to take my mother and father away for a birthday celebration as a family. Advantages: Very near the airport.

...I stayed at the holiday Inn Gatwick with my family before and after flying out to the caribbean. It was clean and friendly and even the kids enjoyed it. The rooms were quite spacious with tea and coffe facilities. I even called reception as there was only one hot chocolate between the 2 children, and they were at our room within minutes with more sachets and packets of biscuits. We ate an evening meal there too and it wasn't too badly priced! We got up early the next morning and had a swim before catching our longhaul flight, which used up a bit of energy so the kids weren't too restless on the plane. All in all we loved it and would definitely stay again....

...I stayed in this Holiday Inn on New Year's Eve 2007, and was pleasantly surprised by the price of approximately £60 including breakfast; especially impressive given the normal hotel procedure of hiking up prices on 31st December. The hotel was easy to find (albeit with sat nav!), and the receptionist that greeted us was friendly and polite; directing us to our room which we found to be nothing short of clean, comfortable and pleasant. My husband in particular was happiest about the fact that they had a built in Playstation with the TV - albeit a Playstation One, it kept him entertained whilst I got ready to go out!
