Advantages: Very clean, excellent value for money, breakfast provided.
Disadvantages: A few more nearby dining options would make it a perfect place to stay.

...I stayed here for a few nights in October 2007 whilst visiting Oxford. The parking lot is large, providing more than ample space even during a fully-booked night. Being right next to the Kassam Stadium, this hotel is super for those wanting to partake in watching Oxford United. Check-in was very fast and efficient; the staff were very welcoming and polite. Our rooms were on the third floor which was just a short elevator ride from the lobby. The rooms themselves were spotless. Nicely arranged, with a good sized sofa bed in the room too. No mum it's not a petrol station, it's the Holiday Inn Oxford.

Advantages: Great Price. Good location for roads. Next to park and ride, cheaper than paying for parking!
Disadvantages: Another Holiday Inn, nothing that unique about it. Surly reception staff.

We have had a rather turbulent year so my brother and I felt it was necessary to take my mother and father away for a birthday celebration as a family. After a good trawl of the internet we decided to visit Oxford. As my brother has two young children it was necessary to consider a family room, ideally with some facilities to keep the children entertained, so we found ourselves at Holiday Inn Oxford. I found the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay. Holiday Inn Express Leeds the way to good service.

Advantages: Excellent self-service breakfast. Clean rooms and good facilities.
Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit too small generally. Bit expensive.

...On my trips to Leeds I always book into the Holiday Inn Express, chiefly because it is the closest hotel to where I need to be. Within this review I refer to my last experience of staying there about 10 months ago. Outside the building doesn't look too attractive, and the entrance is a bit basic with its blue doors and plants. However, when you make your way through the doors, the lobby is much more impressive. As I approached the counter to sign in, I was greeted by a member of the staff politely within a few seconds. I had already booked so it was just a matter of signing the piece of paper and taking my key card for my room. ...The Express by Holiday Inn hotel in Glenrothes is one I have stayed in a couple of times, when visiting the Fife area of Scotland. Located on the outskirts of Glenrothes, the hotel is situated in a quiet location, set back from the road, with ample car parking. The hotel has two floors with 49 rooms. All the rooms are non -smoking. On entering the hotel, the reception area is small but adequate, as this is one of the smaller hotels in the chain, but it does feel quite cosy and friendly. ...hot. There was also a gym but I didn't use it. One of the main benefit of this hotel was the ample parking which was free, unlike some of the holiday inns. There is a park and ride bus within walking distance and so access into Oxford Town Centre was easy. It was far better to get the bus than park in the town as this is really expensive. The only downside about this hotel was the restaurant was quite small, although the food was varied and good with cost being competive with local restaurants. If breakfast is not included in your room rate (optional) it is really quite expensive for the buffet style around £14.95 each. However, there is a Little Chef across the car park which offers breakfast cheaper. I booked online which is cheaper and if you book in advance you can get a better price.
