...Express By Holiday inn earls court, London I made a visit to Holiday inn, in earls court during the middle of July and found this a nice place to stay. The Hotel had a small sign displayed at the front of the Hotel window advertising rooms from ninety nine Pounds per room per night. Regarding the Hotel's location the nearest tube station is West brompton station which takes around ten minutes to walk from the station to the Hotel, or Fulham broadway is around fifteen minutes away. The Hotel's immediate location is also close to South Kensington. Therefore Hotel visitors are treated to a great array of shopping malls in Fulham and high streets that surround the area. Advantages: Reasonable price, friendly staff, clean public areas and rooms
Disadvantages: Basic room, continental breakfast, on main road

...I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in November 2008. The hotel itself is located on the High Street which is a busy main road running through Stratford. It is approximately 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. There is a lot of construction work taking place in the area, but I did not hear any noise at all. As you enter the hotel there is a tidy and modern reception area with a seating area, bar and dining area to the rear. The reception staff are extremely friendly. Access to the rooms is available via one of two lifts. You need to use your room keycard to make the lifts work. The rooms are smaller than those you get in normal Holiday Inn hotels, in keeping with the Express brand. However, the twin room I received was extremely clean and fresh. A small open wardrobe was provided along with tea and coffee facilities...

...This was my first ever experience of a Holiday Inn Express Hotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay. Location: The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted. The building is very new looking and plastered white - the Holiday Inn Express new logo makes it easy to spot. Holiday Inn Express Leeds the way to good service.

Advantages: Excellent self-service breakfast. Clean rooms and good facilities.
Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit too small generally. Bit expensive.

...On my trips to Leeds I always book into the Holiday Inn Express, chiefly because it is the closest hotel to where I need to be. Within this review I refer to my last experience of staying there about 10 months ago. Outside the building doesn't look too attractive, and the entrance is a bit basic with its blue doors and plants. However, when you make your way through the doors, the lobby is much more impressive. As I approached the counter to sign in, I was greeted by a member of the staff politely within a few seconds. I had already booked so it was just a matter of signing the piece of paper and taking my key card for my room. I was on the 6th of its 7 floors and being rather lazy, decided to take one of the 2 lifts they have. ...The Express by Holiday Inn hotel in Glenrothes is one I have stayed in a couple of times, when visiting the Fife area of Scotland. Located on the outskirts of Glenrothes, the hotel is situated in a quiet location, set back from the road, with ample car parking. The hotel has two floors with 49 rooms. All the rooms are non -smoking. On entering the hotel, the reception area is small but adequate, as this is one of the smaller hotels in the chain, but it does feel quite cosy and friendly. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and I have never had any problems checking in. ...fruits including oranges , grapefruits, melon, pineapple, mango, apple/pear compote, berry compote, yoghurt, bacon, sausages, baked beans, black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, eggs scrambled or fried and tomatoes. All very very nice and hot drinks served at the table and topped up for you. Fruit juices were self serve. The restaurant was spacious, modern and comfortable. There was car parking below at I believe about £17 per day which we didn't use as we arrived by train. There was a Fitness first Gym that was free 8-12 noon outside the front of the hotel and down stairs or lift. Room service 24 hours. Hotel mostly air- conditioned (our room was but we had the window open instead). We really enjoyed our stay at this well positioned hotel which was clean, friendly and welcoming. We were meeting two of our Ciao friends and wanted somewhere near central Aberdeen. Location: Chapel Street, off Union Street; the main thoroughfare of Aberdeen, with The Bon Accord Shopping Centre and various pubs, eateries and lots of little side streets with exclusive shops. Cost: Four person bedroom: double bed and sofa bed: £55.00 per room, per night. ...When my darling brother informed me he was flying to the states for 3 months on the very day of the Ciao meet, I was in a bit quandary as to where on earth I'd stay for the night of the meet, a bench on the Embankment appeared to be beckoning when I started to look at the prices of hotels in Central London. Thankfully the handy special offers email I get as a Priority Club Member of the Holiday Inn group showed up in the nick of time. Holiday Inn Express (HIE) is a great mid range hotel group, all the hotels offer practically the same facilities and you know what your getting for your money, a decent hotel with basic facilities and a "free" continental breakfast being the order of the day.
