...I had the 'pleasure' of having a 4 week stay at the Holiday Inn Express recently whilst on an airline training course. It's one of two hotels near the airport, the other one being the awful Ibis. So if you need a hotel due to an early or late flight this is probably your best bet. Location: It's a quarter of a mile from Luton Airport and 1 mile from Luton Airport Parkway train station. There is a shuttle bus that goes from the station to the airport every 10 minutes or so and it goes past the hotel, there is a bus stop just outside. A taxi to Luton Parkway if you do not want to use the free bus is around £4. First Impressions: It's a nice modern looking building, with 'Holiday Inn Express' clearly marked on it. THE EXPRESS HOLIDAY INN GLASGOW AIRPORT !

Advantages: location,clean and comfortable,great value for money ,plenty of facilitys.friendly staff

...Holiday Inn Express at Glasgow Airport. Me and my girlfriend booked this hotel 3 weeks before hand and got a great rate of £55 for one night including full breakfast.We got the free airport bus from buchan bus station which takes to outside the main terminal at the airport .When we arrived we were amazed at how close it was actually to the main terminal of Glasgow Airport less than 2 minutes which was very handy for our morning departure.We checked in around 1630 and were told in detail the facility's , restaurant opening times , breakfast times and all check out details by two friendly staff receptionists one lady also helped us with the masses of luggage we had to the room. We were surprised with the quality of the hotel with it just being a budget hotel the entrance to the hotel resembles the same look in decor as any 4 or 5 star...

Holiday Inn, Gatwick

Advantages: Very near the airport.
Disadvantages: none

...I stayed at the holiday Inn Gatwick with my family before and after flying out to the caribbean. It was clean and friendly and even the kids enjoyed it. The rooms were quite spacious with tea and coffe facilities. I even called reception as there was only one hot chocolate between the 2 children, and they were at our room within minutes with more sachets and packets of biscuits. We ate an evening meal there too and it wasn't too badly priced! We got up early the next morning and had a swim before catching our longhaul flight, which used up a bit of energy so the kids weren't too restless on the plane. All in all we loved it and would definitely stay again....

...I spent two nights at this hotel with my partner recently when up in Glasgow to see a concert at Hampden Park. It was the second time I have stayed at this hotel, the first being a couple of years back when again I was attending a concert. The hotel is very easy to find and ideally situated just off Junction 28 on the M8 at the airport itself. The hotel is visible from the motorway, and it just a case of driving into the airport, turn right at the roundabout, and it is straight ahead of you. There is a car park at the hotel, which was free the first time I stayed here, but you are now charged £5.00 per night. If you are going on holiday, you can also leave your car here. I have stayed in Express by Holiday Inn hotels quite often over the last few years and only once had a problem, which resulted in me receiving a refund so all was well...

Luton Airport

Advantages: Easy, convenient
Disadvantages: None

...busiest airport in the UK. Like I said they have a lot of low cost carriers that use the airport. EasyJet is one of the big airlines there as well as Monarch Airlines, Thomsonfly and Ryanair. So, for weekend trips and city breaks it makes this airport very convenient and fairly cheap. You do find a lot of people going on package holidays from Luton or stag/hen weekends a lot of the time which make for quite noisy, eventful flights but as it's only short it's not too bad. Luton airport is also a centre for business jets and Harrods run their executive flights, Harrods aviation out of Luton for all their rich customers. We did turn up about 2 hours early for our flight on Friday but there was absolutely no one there, we were first in the queue and checked in in about 5 minutes, brilliant, no waiting, etc. We did not check in any bags as...

Second best option for Prague airport, but still a good hotel

...Continuing my current trend of hotel reviews that lack the useful addition of photos I bring you a review of the the Holiday Inn at Prague airport. If you are visiting Prague I don't advise you to stay at the airport, there's no reason to. It's 15 minutes by bus 100 or 119 to the metro (I forget exactly which bus goes to which metro line) and you can surely find a more interesting place to stay in the city. If for some reason you need to be at the airport then there are two hotels I've used in recent months and this is one of them. Location Well, the hotel is at the airport, almost. ...This was my first ever experience of a Holiday Inn Express Hotel, but having stayed at this hotel recently I am sure I will be using this chain again. I found the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham to be excellent value for money,very clean, well situated and with all the elements for a peaceful and agreable overnight stay. Location: The hotel is situated right in the centre of Cheltenham, a town which is on the edge of the Cotswolds and an agreable destination in its own right. The hotel was easily found being opposite "The Brewery", a new food and retail development that is well sign posted.
