I wouldn't want a "Holiday Inn" this hotel

Advantages: Good location
Disadvantages: dull, dull, dull - and not cheap either

...This hotel has been listed on Ciao for more than two years without anyone writing about it and I'm not actually all that surprised. Writing a review of a really good hotel is easy and writing one about an awful hotel is fun. But how about hotels that are just a bit blurgh - not great, not awful? Is it actually possible to write an interesting review of an uninteresting hotel? I'm still not sure about that. If you find it a bit dull, please go and read one of my other hotel reviews - they'll probably be more interesting but Ciao needs the good and the bad as well as the mediocre. Sitting in my room at the Holiday Inn in Paris St Germain de Pres I couldn't help but reflect that the designers drew heavily from that area of the colour palette best characterised by the term 'nicotine'. Disneyland Paris with Leger Holidays

Advantages: Closer to home than the US parks and therefore less expensive to get there
Disadvantages: The French just don't have the same friendly helpful 'have a nice day approach' and parks are smaller with less thrill rides

...the restaurant that you travel through on the Pirates of the Carribean ride!. It really is an amazing place to eat. The ride still runs and people are passing your table throughout your meal. The food is great. I would strongly recommend the sweet that includes a small portion of each of their sweets:-) Their is also a french McDonalds which provides the usual fare for families. Nearby Attractions Paris is nearby and easily accessible by train/metro from the resort at reasonable cost. You can then visit the many wonderful places such as the Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower etc. If you take the Leger coach holiday, trip to Paris is usually included.   A Superb Gamble in Vegas! The Paris Hotel!

Advantages: Something new to explore..you can be in Paris and Las Vegas at the same time!

Disneyland Paris or bust!

Advantages: Cheaper than Disney hotels yet still near to the parks
Disadvantages: Poor quality and choice of food in the hotel

...As our 3 year old celebrated his birthday I was determined that a trip to Disneyland was warranted, although we couldn't afford a big budget. Florida was out as I couldn't cope with the flight plus a bored toddler, so I looked into Disneyland Paris. On first investigation it looked as though this too would be a no, no as I had a budget of £800 for a week which had to include flights and park tickets. I looked at all the Disney hotels on the site and discovered that they were horrendously expensive - and then I looked at the "Disney Selected" hotels which were also very close to the parks but were slightly cheaper as they were not actual "Disney" hotels. Oh La La debmercury stays in Hotel Bellevue Paris

Advantages: Excellent location and good value for money
Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people

...The Hotel The Bellevue hotel is a three star hotel and has 36 rooms, which are all nicely decorated in either burgundy or blue tones. It is a four storey building with lots of parisian style. The hotel is a small independantly run hotel which is in a fantastic location 19 Rue d' orsel, 7518 Paris which is at the foot of the Sacre Coeur church in Montmartre. I had pre-booked a taxi online when I booked this break. Taxi was from the Charles de Gaulle airport and when we arrived the Bellevue Hotel was lit up outside and looked very warm and welcoming. The hotel has a small reception desk which is open twenty four hours and the reception staff are very friendly and helpful. At the side of the reception desk there is a large rack with lots of tourist information leaflets on where to go and places of interest...

Holiday !

Advantages: Nice sweet film, romantic comedy
Disadvantages: Not the best romantic comedy I have seen, some may find it too sickly sweet!

Holiday Inn Disneyland Paris *Essential info*

Advantages: Comfortable and Reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Not ideal if you want to stay out past midnight

...I stayed at the Holiday Inn with my girlfriend on a recent trip to Disneyland Paris, here's what we thought... Booking and check-in was easy with no problems but getting the card to work in the door was our first hurdle which we eventually managed to overcome, it's a quick swipe from top to bottom, take the card out and push the handle when you hear a click so I hope that helps you get in! Next the free shuttle bus which visits all the hotels outside the main complex is yellow and not pink (which goes to the Disney hotels within the complex) as a lot of travel guides state. When you come out of Marne-le-vallee station if Disneyland parks are in front of you go left towards Disney village and left round the side of the station to find the bus terminal, you want the first stop on the right hand side of the road (poorly signposted...

...Trying to find your way around any capital city is no mean feat and forward planning is always advisable. So I hope to be able to share some of my knowledge of getting around Paris, having spent 9 months living there and having visited on numerous occasions. BY AIR: -One great way of seeing any city is from the air, and it is possible to take helicopter tours over the city. They're pretty pricey though - one quote I found was ?250 for adults, ?220 for children. Flying is also a popular way of getting to Paris.
