The roots of the Pendennis Brass Band are firmly established in Falmouth, a beautiful holiday town and sea port on the south coast of Cornwall (in the UK). Originally formed as the Falmouth Town Band in the 1950's, the band progressed to Championship Standard performing alongside the legendary Black Dyke Mills band at the Albert Hall, London in 1955. Pendennis Brass being based in Falmouth, has a very close relationship with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution and will be donating £1.00 GBP from every CD sold to the RNLI which will go directly to saving lives off the beautiful but treacherous coasts of Cornwall. 1.
