...Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion I am reviewing this product in Fair to Medium Skin. Johnson's Holiday Skin Body Lotion comes in a tall yellow bottle with blue writing on it. The bottle contains 250ml. It has lasted me about three months so far; I have used it about fifteen times and I am almost running out. It claims to 'gradually build a beautiful light tan'. My skin is pale and I burn easily in the sun. When and why I bought Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion I bought Johnsons Holiday Skin Body Lotion from my local village shop. It was about three/four months ago and just coming up to Summer and I wanted a tan (I have pale skin and burn easily in the sun). When I saw the bottle I thought I'd give it a go. My sister and a friend both have the same body lotion and I'd heard them talk about the lovely smell...

Johnson's Holiday Skin... heading to the caribbean!!!

Advantages: Good for fair skin, reasonable price, looks natural
Disadvantages: Can stain hands and inside ankles

...you've spent a day at the beach or someting, i find it to be a summer neccessary!! Packaging Even though the packaging is yellow, don't trust the content by its packaging... in my experience, the end result is most certainly NOT yellow. The Holiday Skin Range There is a range of the Johnsons Holiday skin tones, you can get fair to medium, medium to dark and extra fair. Absorbtion Unfortunately, for me, this product did take a very long time to absorb which is a downside so i wouldn't reccomend putting it on in the morning - especially if you're planning on wearing anything tight or bare legs. If you put it on at night it should absorb okayby the morning. Smell This smell, i think, is divine!!! I love it so much and at the bus stop with my friends one day one of them even said 'does anyone smell tropical malibu?' turns out...

Summer is nearly here! time for holiday skin!

Advantages: Absorbs really well and moisturises skin.
Disadvantages: Has a fake tan smell!

...I'm on my annual summer countdown at the moment, wishing the weeks away until the weather starts getting warmer! It's also the time of year when I start thinking about making myself look a little less pasty! I like to have a nice healthy glow It always makes me feel better, trouble is until now I have only just been able to achieve it (streak free!) thanks to Johnson's. Johnson's Holiday Skin has to be my favourite fake tan around at the moment (I've tried tons!) Advantages: Good gradual tan, easy application
Disadvantages: strong lingering smell, can be a bit streaky if poorly applied

...I have tried various self tanning products, but found traditional self tan a bit of a palaver to use ie; exfoliate, moisturise dry areas like elbows and knees first... so Johnson's Holiday skin seemed to be the perfect solution for a lazy chick like me! I brought it from Boots when it was on offer, but it is usually cheaper from Wilkinsons. I purchased the normal to darker skin version of the lotion and applied it after my daily bath. the lotion is a really nice consistency, a little bit creamy and leaves your skin really soft and in nice condition. The only thing I will say is that it can take time to sink in, so leave it for about five minutes or so before getting dressed or you may feel a bit slimy. I repeated this regime for one week, and was really impressed with the overall effect. It can streak ever so slightly if you're not...

...Johnsons holiday skin is great. I love it. I used to go on the sunbeds every day but in the end i really couldnt afford to do that anymore so i went to boots to look for an alternative. Thats when i saw girls in the que with this johnsons holiday skin. The girl looked really healthy and tanned an it looked natural to. I asked her where she had been on holiday and she laughed and said i havnt. She said all she used was this johnsons stuff every night after a bath and ta da there was the beautiful tan. Ever since then i havnt looked back and people are always commenting on how well i look and i love it. Im getting married soon and i am even going to use it for my wedding day its looks that good. I would suggest this to anyone at all it makes you look as good as a celeb! Johnsons holiday skin is amazing xx...

...I have very fair skin, and have had muliple fake tan disasters over the years, so thought i would give the Johnsons Holiday skins a try, as apparently it is fool proof!! After listening to a number of tips about applying fake tan, and exfloiated and waited half an hour before applying the product, after getting out of the shower (the ingredient in fakes tans can react with soap, leaving you orange). Applying the product was easy, and just involved rubbing in the moistouriser until fully obsourbed, then waiting for the results. Whilst the moisteriser felt very nice on my skin, the smell, left a little to be desired, and reminded me of Digestive Biscuits! such a passion killer!!!!! the results where no better either. I was left with a number of patches on my skin until the product wore off, and especially orange knees, and elbows...

...Some lucky person at Johnson & Johnson must be enjoying their huge bonus, new office and executive parking space. This is the clever individual who thought "Why don't we get some body lotion, bung in a bit of fake tan, put it in a sunny, shimmery bottle and call it Holiday Skin? It'll sell like hot cakes!" They did, and it does, currently retailing for £4.99 from Boots or Superdrug, possibly less at supermarkets. This is a bit expensive for a body lotion, but it's pretty cheap for a fake tan. It's a very simple concept, but it does work, and pretty much as you would expect a body lotion mixed with fake tan to work. Basically you slather it all over yourself (good people will have exfoliated), going easy on your dry bits and places with creases, prance around in the nude for as long as you are able, wishing it would sink in, then go...

Advantages: Covers pretty evenly, fast tanning (could be negative too though)

...I remember last year Johnsons Holiday Skin was a big hit! Being one of the first of its kind and at a reasonable price everyone went wild for it! At that time I wasn't really interested, previous self tan products had left me feeling that only the sun would give me the effect I wanted.
