...relatively Cheap in the Summer as it rarely gets below 100 degrees but in Autumn it can be expensive as climate is pleasant and Californian's visit at weekends. Conversely , Anaheim (Disneyland area) is very Expensive in Summer but relatively cheap out of season. Holiday !

Advantages: Nice sweet film, romantic comedy
Disadvantages: Not the best romantic comedy I have seen, some may find it too sickly sweet!

The Holiday - a good chick flick

...The Holiday is a chick flick type film although it is not quite your normal chick flick. It is based around the story of two girls , Amanda, played by Cameron Diaz and Iris played by Kate Winslet. Amanda is a film trailer producer who has just broke up with her boyfriend, she lives in LA. Iris lives in Surrey in a little cottage and is a writer for a paper. She is still in love with her ex boyfriend who she works with and has just found out he is getting engaged. Amanda starts searching on the Internet for some sort of holiday to get away and try and forget what has happened. ...The Holiday- I tried to get to see his at the cinema but i unfortunately missed out. Although after reading the reviews it was a mixed opinion, so as soon as it came out i purchased it so that i could judge for myself and its a great film. With Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Jude Law and Cameron Diaz it was an all star cast and a hopeless romantic film a definate chich flick. ...with her boyfriend but finds out he has been cheating on her, she is also heart broken and decides she needs to get away from it all and looks into booking a holiday. While trawling through the internet Amanda finds Iris' house being advertised on a house swap website and they both agree to swap houses over the Christmas period. ...I decided to write a review of this seeing as I've never met anyone else who has ever heard of this bar my own brother. we used to while away the time on this simplistic army game. The game is named after one of the storyline's main General's. The conflict in question is between the blue forces of 'General Chaos' and the red troops of 'General Havoc.' The game is a very cartoony offering from EA, released in 1994 on SEGA Mega Drive. It is a mulitplayer compatible game and two players can play either co-op or against each other, and if I'm not mistaken, it was also possible to play 4 player with use of the special multiplayer pads. I no longer own this game and as a result am reviewing this from hazy childhood memory. ...I had read a couple of reviews about 'The Holiday' which were slightly less than enthusiastic, so when I watched it on DVD the other night, I wasn't really expecting a great deal. I have to say though, that I was pleasantly surprised as I found it a very enjoyable, although none too taxing film. The Holidy stars a couple of my favourite actresses - Kate Winslett and Cameron Diaz. They play women who live on opposite sides of the world - Surrey and LA - and are both quite discontented with their lives. Solway Holiday Park

Advantages: the farm and hot tub

...I have just come back from a week in the Lakes and have decided to try and have a go at reviewing the place we stayed. Solway Holiday Park is situated in Silloth Cumbria (about 22 miles west of Carlisle) which is small village with a population of around 3000. If you want a town with lots going on then Silloth is not for you, it has a lovely large green and a great sea view although it is not a beach. It also has cafes and the odd take away along with some little shops and of course a Spar (everywhere seems to have a Spar). Near the green is amusements which also sells refreshments. The park itself was quite easy to find I got the directions from greenflag. As we drove in through the entrance the reception was quite well sign posted, when we booked we were told booking in time was 4pm (which I thought was a bit late but...

If you are looking for a cheap 5 star hotel holiday deal, you've come to the wrong place. But Ferris Holidays do offer the cheapest enjoyable holidays you can find. Believe me. Ferris Holidays have a fleet of today-modern coaches which the option of Platinum or normal-Executive. With the Platinum travel you have to pay £15 extra per person but it's well worth the money as the extra leg room and extra reclining seats cater well for sleeping. No, the seats don't recline 90 degrees as a posed to a normal bed but they do recline enough.
