...i came across bargainholidays.com when i was looking for a cheap holiday a couple of months back - and when I say cheap i mean Cheap. This site is excellent because it is jam backed with holidays at ridiculous prices in some cases. Its a great site to navigate round and you can usually find some thing of interst on it. its able to give you last minute (ie fly tomorrow) holidays and also holidays in a couple of months time. This is a great site which has a wide range of holidays basically if its being sold it'll be on here. You can book any thing from £99 sun n sand holidays to cruises. ...As long as your flexible about the destination of your holiday I can assure you teletext will be able to find you a bargin. The later you leave booking the holiday to the departure date the cheaper and cheaper it will become. Last year I purchased a holiday to Ibiza using teletext, this turned out to be the best value for money Ive ever had. A week at the end of june in a 5 star hotel in Es Cana (the quieter but not to quiet side of ibiza!) cost £179 what a bargin, the only bad point for us was the flight from Gatwick, but that is a good point for alot of people. The hotel was brilliant, we had a great holiday and im now searching teletext for a last minute deal for a quick break in july for this year. The process of searching for the holiday can be a bit time consuming and could be costly if you havent got cheap rates... Read review

...Ive just returned from tenerife and booked this holiday with direct-holidays.They are a direct sell company who cut out the middle man(travel agent).When i decided to book my holiday,the hotel i had chosen happened to be in 7 differant holiday firms brochures.Direct-holidays were £100 per person cheaper than the best of the rest.Iwas on an airtours flight where in their brochure(airtours) they were charging £49 flight supplement,where as in direct-holiday,s brochure the supplement was -£20,yes minus £20.In resort each hotel has its own direct-holidays tour rep,where as the other big firms reps were covering 2-3 hotels.I have already booked next years holiday with direct and so should you.... ...I've never thought much of the look of the Teletext website (too much like real teletext I suppose), but after landing a great holiday using the site, I take it all back. I recently used their search engine to find a cheap holiday in the Caribbean. They found me an excellent priced package holiday to Barbados for only £399 per person. I am a regular visitor of a lot of travel sites but have never seen a Caribbean holiday priced so cheaply. I called up using the phone number indicated and received all of the info necessary in order to make the decision to book. Ever since, I have been recommending Teletext to everyone for its holidays. It has a trusted brand along with some great priced holidays that you can't find anywhere else.... Read review

...Having come across the site I spent hours watching other bids win and fail! I did however manage to get a winning bid for a holiday for two weeks during August of this year, which saved me over 300 hundred pounds on the brochure cost of the holiday. The site is good fun, however can be frustrating as just as you think you have got the winning bid you are outbid litterally in the final seconds of the auction.Yes I know thats the nature of the game re an auction, but at the time it feels like your holiday has been swiped from under your nose. I would suggest watching other holidays being bid on then learning from that. However I was very pleased with my holiday and the service offered by the site. Im looking forward to purchasing my next holiday using this same site.... Read review

...If you have had an appalling holiday with a British tour operator and cannot resolve your complaint, this site is very useful.It gives pre-travel advice, what to do if you have a problem on the holiday and good advice on what to do on returning from holiday. Every consumer should visit this site, especially if they take package holidays abroad. Found it to be a very personal and friendly service which responded to peoples complaints extremely quickly.The organisation is consumer friendly and its free.Their motto is 'Putting Holidaymakers First'. ...This company takes pride in what they do best: find you a great affordable holiday. I normally book my holidays online and I found expedia to be one of the best on the market today together with ebookers for good deals and virgin holidays for all inclusive holidays. I booked a flight and car hire for a week end in Bologna, Italy last Monday. The choice of flight options was huge and the prices very competitive. Expedia promptly delivered me an e-mail message with the holiday details and only after 2 days I received confirmation by post. If you ever want to book a holiday to the USA for instance which includes a stopover almost anywhere in world, expedia is definitely the web site for you.... Read review

...This year i went on holiday to benidorm and booked with thompson. This is the first time i've been with thompson and would definitely go with them again. The brochure prices are competitive, and you get some discounts knocked off your holiday. Most of their accomodation is located near the resort centres, which is good. Britannia is Thompson's airline, and they are really good too. The rep at our hotel was really nice and polite, and told you everything about the resort and hotel that you wanted to know. They offer free insurance, which we got when we booked from lunn poly. I'd recommend booking your holiday with thompson as i have never had any problems with them so far, and will be booking next years holiday with them again... Read review
