Hollywood Homicide is a drag

Advantages: Some comedic moments
Disadvantages: Just drags

...I'm not averse to watching a couple of films with negative reviews every now and then, and this is what I experienced with Hollywood Homicide. The film stars Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett as two cops who moonlight as other things and pits them against some bad guys in investigating a multiple homicide. It hasn't received great reviews, and I could see why. The director, Ron Shelton, hasn't really grabbed the bull by the horns with this one. The actors appear uncomfortable and the plot is just too weak. The plot is one that has been used before. Two cops pitted together against their will, the veteran Joe Gavilan (Ford) and the rookie K C Calden (Hartnett), to investigate the murders of four men in a club shooting. Abbot & Costello Meet The Keystone Cops is a misleading title. Yes the comedy duo do meet their illustrious predecessors in the world of movie mirth making but the world famous silent comedians only appear in the climactic chase sequence. It does make for an amazing charge around the countryside as A&C and the Keystone Cops rush around like maniacs trying to capture the villains of the piece, both thinking the others are real Police. ...Hollywood Sign Tour When I was in Hollywood I searched everywhere to get a tour which took me up close to the Hollywood sign and we came across Hollywood Fantasy Tours. **Hollywood Fantasy Tours Company** This tour company is on the Hollywood Blvd beside the historical Pantages Theatre (which is also worth while checking out). The actual office of this tour company is small and tacky with memorabilia everywhere. Even so the staff are quirky and very friendly. It was the only tour company which we could find that took you up into the hills so you could get up close to see the sign, something I found worthwhile as you really be disappointed seeing it from Hollywood Blvd. The directions for the office are to take the freeway to Hollywood Blvd then go west for ¼ mile. Advantages: Amazing writing, full of memorable moments

The episodes included are "When You Dish Upon a Star", "Fear of Flying", "Krusty Gets Kancelled" and "Flaming Moes". "When You Dish Upon a Star" has Homer, through some bizarre accident, becoming the personal assistant to Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, who are staying in a secluded home in Springfield. After he becomes fired for telling his friends about who he's working for, he launches "the museum of Hollywood jerks" with various undergarments etc. With all celebrities in The Simpsons, they are never afraid of poking fun at each other, and both have some good lines together. Glow like a Hollywood star!

Advantages: Smells nice, easy to apply, subtle effect, lasts a long time
Disadvantages: Quite expensive

...I received this product a couple of years ago as a gift (my family and friends know they can't go wrong with something from Benefit) and it is still being put to good use now. This small bottle of strange-coloured shimmery liquid promises to give you a Hollywood actress glow and get you ready for your close up! As with most Benefit products, the cute packaging of Hollywood Glo is worth mentioning. The bottle is sold in a box but to be honest, I hate secondary packaging, so that went straight in the bin without me paying much attention to it. The bottle itself is made of clear glass and although reasonably small is quite heavy and sturdy (I have dropped it a few times and no breakages to date!). The shape of the bottle with it's screw top lid has a real vintage feel to it - almost like it should belong in your grandmothers...
