...This is perhaps the most classic chocolate bar from my childhood. It has long been my favourite as a kid and I sort of have to say it still is so as not to feel as if I have disowned it (sorry Mars Bar but I have found other favourites - I still love you though!). 'A Mars a day helps you work rest and play' - this was the little catchphrase that was associated with Mars Bar. Funny really; it's like saying a chocolate bar a day is good for you. The slogan has now changed to 'Pleasure you can't measure' which definitely seems more appropriate. A standard Mars bar comes at 58g, about 11cm long and 1.8cm high. You'll pay about 32p for this bar in supermarkets which is well below the norm of 50p. Even in my adulthood, I am more than happy to watch the film again, and when I was a kid I use to remember watching this film a hundred times during the Christmas holidays and summer holidays.   Bargains For Your Home

Disadvantages: You pick things up you wouldn't normally. Items change regularly.

Home Bargains is owned by a company called TJ Morris Ltd and the stores are currently popping up all over the country. I am lucky to have 2 different stores nearby which stock some of the same stuff and some different, so it does go to show that some different products are available at different stores. What things do they sell? You can pick up loads of different things off of your main shopping list in Home Bargains. Cookie bars????

...I bought a pack of these as it was 100% extra - 16 bars for the price of 8 and the fact that I thought they would be a treat for my daughter in her lunch box. She sometimes moans that she has too much fruit! I can't remember how much I paid for them, I could guess but I won't bother as I could be way out. I was feeling a little bit peckish one afternoon so I though I would try one, they are all individually wrapped when you open the main packet . 'Cookie bars' what does that mean to you?? Or what do you expect?? To me it means moist crumbly biscuit with lots of chocolate chips in. A useful replacement for the Wii sensor bar

Advantages: A relatively cheap spare sensor bar. Good for a second TV or a quick replacement.
Disadvantages: The cable is still flimsy. Other sensor bars are even cheaper.
