Home entertainment for masochists

Advantages: TV, internet and landline packages all in one
Disadvantages: Poor customer service, poor value for money, constantly malfunctions

I also found their advertising quite deceptive as on their brochure they showed far more channels under the basic package than they actually provide (read the very very very small print). The service itself, both the internet and television, have malfunctioned on several occasions meaning that a technician has to be called out. This normally takes about 2 weeks from first phone call during which time you have no service but are still being charged. The malfunction normally occurs because the set top box overheats (according to one technician, the boxes were very badly designed and cheaply manufactured so malfunction constantly). HOME CINEMA ON A BUDGET? TRY THESE.

Advantages: Small,unobtrusive satellite speakers.
Disadvantages: Not as good as larger speakers.

...I brought my set of tannoys 15 months ago and, at the time,they cost £300.Now,with a little searching around,they can be obtained for under £200. What you get in the box is five satellite speakers(two front,two rear and a centre speaker) plus a seperate powered subwoofer. You also get wall mounted supports for the two front and two rear speakers and all the speaker cables(i changed the cables to 79 stand q.e.d. speaker cable to improve the sound). Setting up the system is relatively easy:you just need an electric drill for the the wall mounted stands and once fitted,you just connect the cables to your home cinema amp. Easy!! Once you have connected everything,it is time to try out the system. My first reaction and i am sure yours will be the same was one of complete disbelief!! ...The Entertainment section of Ciao is probably the one I use most, being very keen on both reading and writing opinions in this category. It has quite a wide brief, as it includes eight main sections - Films, Books, Music, TV, Radio, DVDs, Videos, Newspapers and Magazines. Each of these then has a number of sub-categories, meaning that hopefully, everyone can find something of interest. For example, the Books category is divided into Fiction, Non-Fiction, Plays, Poetry and Writer's Corner. The first four are fairly obvious in their content, but the Writer's Corner was new to me and being a wannabe novelist and sometime poet, I was interested to explore this further. Advantages: Huge number of products, great variety in styles of writing, constant evolution of products, competitions regularly
Disadvantages: Opinions don't always agree with yours

The content of the new material is always above average, even for this site, and only helps to add depth to an already very full region. Saying this, however, it is never difficult to find the product that you are looking for - even without using the search option, it is always easy to find the product using the clearly laid out categories which are distributed strategically in the category. There are, quite often, competitions in the region which have great prizes (eg. concert tickets), something that attracts people and helps to produce better quality reviews; something that is always welcome, in my opinion.
