They don’t mention of course that you will have to pay them for the privilege! I don't know how much they charge but clearly you would be better off doing it yourself. I thought it was very expensive (£ 400.0 for the two) but as it was made by Logitech I thought it would work and be of good quality. I was rather surprised when I opened the master box to find that it was going to cost me even more to get the full system as I had to subscribe for extras such as zoom and extra web services. I set the system up and it worked fairly well, except that the picture quality was poor and the video was slow. It ran for two weeks and I was able to view my home from anywhere through my mobile phone. However, yesterday it stopped working, I don't know why. No pictures were received in the main PC. ...When it comes to home security, I like to think that I've done my best in securing my home and belongings from any would-be burgler from taking what's mine. I live in a Council property. My flat is on the ground floor. But the block of flats I live in (a block of 6 flats, 3 either side) is in a security door system. This is a really good idea. Before 1pm there is a 'trade' button for people to press so they can get in automatically. This is really for the postman, milkman, maintenance men etc. But after 1pm the system locks automatically, and people have to buzz the relevant flat number to get in. So, due to this, I do feel partically safe, especially at night! But, as I said, my flat is on the ground floor, so people could still get in if they really wanted to!
