Excellent Learner bike and Commuter (Honda CG125)

Advantages: Stunning fuel consumption, Easy to ride, Forgiving
Disadvantages: No power, doesn't handle brilliantly, not 'cool'

...I learnt to ride on this bike a couple of years ago and have commuted on it everyday since then come rain or shine (except a couple where there was eight inches of snow and ice). During that time it has served me well and has consistently run at about 100mpg. There are drawbacks though. There is very little power produced and I found myself falling to about 40 mph quite frequently for hills. There is also no scope for overtaking even if the person in front is only doing 35 due to it taking too long to accelerate. There have been a couple of times during very heavy rain where the engine has cut out and been unstartable until it had dried out but this is probably due to my bike being old (17years) rather than the design. Honda cg 125 A great commuter bike.

Advantages: Fuel economy, "Bomb Proof" engine, Reliable, Cheap to run / insure.
Disadvantages: Lack of power, Drum brakes, No thrills bike.

...My bike is a honda cg 125 on an 02 plate, nearly four year old now and my model has the electric start and drum brakes front and rear. I have been riding it to work (18 miles per day) now for the past three years and I can honestly say nothing has gone wrong with my bike. The bike is lightweight, body style is ok and the seating position is upright compared to other tourers and commuters. The cg will literally run on fumes, it will keep going and going on very little petrol, considering the constant increase in the cost of petrol. Bearing in mind I travel 18 miles a day four to five times a week I usually put around £15-£20 in the tank once a month. GT Aggressor XC2. What a Bike for the Money

Advantages: Strong Frame and Wheels, Tyres do not let go
Disadvantages: None really!!

...Bought this bike with my work cycle to work scheme. A great buy from Halfords. Excellent speck for the price and a very strong bike. I'm 18st 10 (253 ibs) and in my opinion this bike can handle this weight easily. Great colour Black with like a Pearlesent White, Very good speck components, Shimano Deore derauillers and Sram Truvatic Crank. Hydrolic Brakes and Discs. These will stop you instantly and do tare a little time to get used to or a flight over the bars could come along. These sqeak when covered in Muck and Water for the first few occasions, but when used this disapates. Wheels are Alex DP17 rims, Strong, Maxxis Ingnitor Tyres Grip like hell. Suntour XCR forks are ok for Cross Country riding, Not a great Jump fork, but hey Im no Jumper! (I think that if yoiu are lighter than me you could have some safe landings with these...

On Yer Bike!

Advantages: Great fun, slow, Harry loves it
Disadvantages: Noisy, siren is a pain

In fact, he's not into anything that moves too fast or does things that he doesn't expect to happen, pretty much like any 2 and a half year old I expect. Honda Civic

Advantages: Fuel economy, performance, accommodation, dealer friendliness.
Disadvantages: Minor niggles, servicing cost can be high, rattles.

...Just to clear a few things up from previous review. MK II Honda CRX is NOT a boy racer car at all. The majority of UK owned MK II's are owned by enthusiasts from the owners club and are taken complete care of regardless of cost . I spent £500 on mine just last month, no not on neon lights and a body kit. New clutch, new discs and calipers, new exhaust (Standard), CV boots and Tax. ...screws (after draining the sump oil) which were invariably seized onto the engine casing by alloy corrosion from salt water. - unfortunately these couldn't be done with a standard screwdriver, in those days you used an 'impact driver' - shortly afterwards Honda went over to 8mm hex-headed bolts on their new machines. I suspect cordless screwdrivers would probably have helped, but we would have to wait 15 years before they became popular!
