Advantages: Fuel economy, performance, accommodation, dealer friendliness.
Disadvantages: Minor niggles, servicing cost can be high, rattles.

Our local Perth dealer (Weir Honda) were offering what was a nearly new car with around £1500 off the new price. We knew from looking at comparative prices that this was a good deal and managed to get mudflaps and carpet mats fitted as well. Broadly the experience has been very good - the dealer has been helpful in sorting out several minor problems. These were rattle in top end of the engine (a minor adjustment), a missing jacking point on the rear nearside, a silencer which gave out after 2 years' use, squeaky ventilation fan and a stuck sunroof (x2). Advantages: The whole car

...Just to clear a few things up from previous review. MK II Honda CRX is NOT a boy racer car at all. The majority of UK owned MK II's are owned by enthusiasts from the owners club and are taken complete care of regardless of cost . I spent £500 on mine just last month, no not on neon lights and a body kit. New clutch, new discs and calipers, new exhaust (Standard), CV boots and Tax. I fitted all the parts myself as Honda's labour charges are ridiculous and I don't trust anybody else It's an excellent car though. Once you drive one you will never feel 100% driving any other car there's no experience like it. It feels like you are sat on the floor , everything is angled towards the driver. Honda make a Jeep.

Advantages: Nice looking car with practical benefits

...I would not think of Honda when it comes to 4 X 4 jeep type off roaders. Landrover,Suzuki and Chrysler Jeep yes! it now seems every motor manufacturer wants to jump on the offroad bandwagon and build a 4 x 4. But the Honda CRV is a nice little car as well as an off roader. I compare it to the Rav 4 and BMW or Mercedes offering. Special edition models of popular cars usually add a number of extra equipment items for little extra cost and that's exactly what Honda offers with its HR-V 'Special Edition'. It comes in 2 flavours of Jeep. A 2 Wheel version and a 4WD version. The difference in Price is only £500 to. ...I have recently purchased a car from a Honda dealership in Inverness, part of the Macrea and Dick chain and thought I would share my experience with you. The car review is else where on the site. First impressions... I started off as most of us do at the car dealers, walking round the forecourt looking at the cars, peering in the windows and wishing i had more money!!! At other garages i have visited lately, i would have been jumped on the moment i got out of my car to look round, not here though. There were of course salesmen keeping an eye on me from inside the building, but i was allowed the time to look about and talk with the girlfriend about what we liked and so on. Only when we had stopped and stayed looking at one car did some one come out to see us. The salesman was smartly dressed, no scrumples or creases in his jacket...

Advantages: CMX 250 Rebel has a hard working well proven economical engine.
Disadvantages: Check for broken or loose wheel spokes and suspension joints.

DeVries Honda (Hull)

Advantages: Good reliable and well designed cars on the whole...
Disadvantages: Dodgy dealers (varies from place to place). There is only normally one franchised dealer in most towns outside London. This means that the dealers get away with a lot!!!

...I have been a Honda driver for many years and have found that the cars are on the whole very reliable. However, I have to say that I have never been too happy with the dealer network. One draw back is that most towns have only one approved Honda dealer that monopolises the area. This often means that they can get away with bad service as consumers in the local area have little choice. Especially if they want to maintain their warranty. You will be treated fairly well on your first few service visits when you buy a car from them (especially if it is a new car). I recently had a "level 4" service done at DeVries Honda in Hull. This costs GBP 200. Not too cheap but it was the top level service that on paper seemed to check, replace, adjust, and clean a whole load of stuff. Part of the service should include replacing the spark plugs...

Honda Heat

Advantages: Longer lasting vehicles
Disadvantages: parts are a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it!

...I am new to this site... so bare with me while I write my first opinion! I bought my first Honda two years ago because my fiance made me buy it(he owns a 1991 Honda Civic).I never ever wanted to drive a Honda, but I am so glad I did. This little 4 cylinder can get up and go! My personal experience with our Hondas are... they are the most durable and reliable vehicles we have ever owned. I have owned mine for two years now, and haven't had one problem with it! Except the usual maintenance like tires and brakes...things of that nature. The parts on our Hondas seem to out last any other vehicles parts we have previously owned, and let me tell you it is very nice to know...when you you have somewhere important to be... you will definitely make it there in your Honda! I only know of one negative to owning a Honda...the parts are a tad...
