...TITLE EXPLANATION Anyone remotely interested in cars cannot failed to have seen Honda's strap-line for their new Accord; "if it is difficult……it is worth doing", supposedly a quote from Mr Honda himself. I am not quite sure as to what this refers; I rather think that the difficulty lay in developing an improved car from the already very good previous one! I feel it only fair to pre-empt this review by saying that this particular model is the exact replacement for my own car - the Honda Accord 2.2 i-CTDi Executive. ...WHAT IS IT? The Jazz is Honda's entry into the highly contested and ever popular "supermini" market. It is a five door hatchback, a very simple range to choose from as there are no variants; saloon, convertible etc, all Jazz models therefore share the same "two box" styling. For those of you to whom it may be important, the dimensions are as follows: Length 3845mm x Width 1878mm x Height 1525mm. It is therefore a fairly short, yet wide and tall small car, having a tardis affect inside where it seems much larger than you would think looking at the car sitting next to the pavement. ...Brand new Civic 2007, correct as of 05/08/2007 My gard... a Honda Civic not aimed at the old fogeys of middle class England? This is a car worth checking out. As a test I actually took this car and showed it to a few senior citizens who themselves own Hondas, mainly the Honda “mid-life crisis” 4x4 CR-V. I am happy to report that after 3 hours of speculating and afternoon napping, they did not like it at all. That, therefore, means that this car is officially cool. I got this car because the Type-R was way more expensive, was in a higher insurance group and costed more to pay tax for to be on the road. The car I have here is the 5 door 1.8l i-VTEC ES version, not the SE. Let’s face it, although SE costs around £1000 less, it has much less in features and doesn’t have the glass roof! ...You may have read about my useless car which I wrote about some time ago. Well a few months ago I finally got rid of my MGTF and bought myself a decent car instead. I use the word 'decent' to describe the build quality of my new car and not as a comparison in design, handling, and features etc. I realise that a direct comparison is impossible as the 2 cars are completely different both in terms of the type of person they are aimed at and the uses to which they would be put to. ...Cast your mind back to several months ago to that bizarre advert on television of a group of people making various noises to simulate the experience of the new Honda Civic to me the advert was annoying but 6 months later we had the brand new civic so it definitely got our attention and into the showroom we went to place our order and had the 8 week wait. Advantages: 90's classic, Stunning engines, Superb handling

...The Honda CRX first hit the showrooms in the mid eighties in the form of a small and sporty 2 + 2 coupe. Think of it like a Ford Puma sent back in time and you can see how forward thinking our Japanese friends are. With its 1.5i 16 valve engine and low low weight it made for a sporty alternative to the mainstream hot hatches of the day, XR3i and Pug 205 GTi to name 2. A school boy at the time, the CRX was right at the top of my wish list. Honda further developed the little coupe over the next few years increasing the engine size to 1.6 l and gradually increasing bhp from 125 to 150bhp. My desire for ownership continued and by 1992 I was finally in a position to own one. But Honda had made further plans for the by now cult status CRX and quite dramatic they were too. ...Well a year and a half has past since my last review and so i give you my latest installment. My year old new car is now up for review! The New shape 2004 Honda Accord Type-S! I have driven the car for 31K miles now all in a year and a half, so i think i've expereiced things that people would normally experience in 3 years or more lol! ...This is not an easy review for me to write. I am going to come clean in the first place and state that after thirteen months and 32,000 miles I know the latest model Honda Accord…..let's say intimately….. …but not, fortunately as it turns out, this "hot rod" 2.4 cylinder petrol version. Mine is a 2.2 i-CTD-i (diesel), a vastly superior car for reasons which I hope will become all to clear to you at the conclusion of this driving experience. Visiting the Millbrook Testing Ground in Bedfordshire for Company Car in Action last year, my wife and I drove up from the south coast in our own, company owned, diesel Accord. Yes, mine was one of the first of this model on the road, but here at this event in June, Honda were taking the opportunity to 'launch' the diesel version of the successful new Accord to the all important fleet market... Advantages: Good reliable and well designed cars on the whole...
Disadvantages: Dodgy dealers (varies from place to place). There is only normally one franchised dealer in most towns outside London. This means that the dealers get away with a lot!!!

...I have been a Honda driver for many years and have found that the cars are on the whole very reliable. However, I have to say that I have never been too happy with the dealer network. One draw back is that most towns have only one approved Honda dealer that monopolises the area. This often means that they can get away with bad service as consumers in the local area have little choice. Especially if they want to maintain their warranty. You will be treated fairly well on your first few service visits when you buy a car from them (especially if it is a new car). I recently had a "level 4" service done at DeVries Honda in Hull. This costs GBP 200. Not too cheap but it was the top level service that on paper seemed to check, replace, adjust, and clean a whole load of stuff. Part of the service should include replacing the spark plugs... Read review

...In my family we have 4 cars, 3 of which are hondas, two of them are Civic's, they really are that good! I often am a skeptic when it comes to people telling me such things. I bought my civic 5 months ago, 2nd hand from a local dealer, the car is 5 years old and had 69000 miles on the clock. Even so, I knew that Honda cars are built to last. Its the way they engineer the cars - quality and lots of it. The car its self has given me no problems what so ever. It is a very smooth ride, and offers excellent fuel economy without comprising on other areas. It is a very powerful car and as such I wouldnt recommend it for drivers you have just passed there tests (plus the insurance for first time drivers is substantial There is ample boot space and if you fold the seats (60/40 split) you could easily go camping.
